SEA Software Ever After is proud to announce the release for Beta Testing of
SeaTrack INet interface.

SeaTrack is one of the best fault reporting / issue / change request / task
management systems available. We strongly believe that this release will put
it well ahead.

The INet interface provides most of the functionality of the Windows
application, which has proven itself in the past five years. The underlying
database is identical, so it may be shared simultaneously between users of
the INet and the Windows application (version 4 or later).

Advantages of the INet version:
1 Thin client: No ActiveX or other downloads
2 Scalable: All sessions use the same connection to the database
3 Customizable: Visual elements are governed by style sheets
4 Latest technology: COM objects, XML, Behaviors etc.
5 "Plug and Play": Server installation within five minutes!
6 Suitable for both Intranet and Internet.

System requirements

Server
1 Microsoft IIS/PWS version 4 or later
2 Data access components (MDAC) version 2 or later

Client
Internet Explorer version 5 or later (or a compatible browser).

Beta Site selection criteria
1 Willingness to participate*
2 Significant quantity of users
3 Diversity of operating modes (Internal and external)
4 Preference to existing SeaTrack users.

*The principal condition for participation is the commitment to report any
problem, however minor, and any suggestion for improvement to the product in
a timely manner. It also means prompt installation of any updates required.

No customization is allowed during the Beta Testing phase, for configuration
management reasons.

The software offered is identical to the Production one and is not limited
in any way.
Participants are licensed to use the product indefinitely.

Communication will be mainly by means of e-mail and downloads from our FTP
site.
