I don't think Gere & DD were separated at birth but I defenitively think
Corey and DD are relatives, in some way.-)
Just take a look to the "Bang! (starting over)" video..... even if Corey got
much smaller eyes and nose (eheheheh) the smile is the same!

Canadian pop singer. The eh? is oddly appropriate ;o)

Yeah, DD does look Canadian, now that I think of it <g>
Anna

Before you buy.
GERE and DAVE have the same SHNOZ and JAWLINE! While I am a devout hetero
(heh), I would rather look like HART and have GERE'S career!heehh Let's be
frank: DUCHOVNY isn't exactly SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER!eheh
Careful, Darrin--you'll lose the few supporters you have around here. I'm
not sure what you're gabbing about: I don't think *any* American actor could
have a career like Olivier in this day and age (not many movie stars get the
stage experience anymore, but DD isn't a stage actor, either).
I've always found RG rather attractive, but just this year saw him in a film
for the first time--I wish I'd liked it better (Dr. T. and the Women). It
was fun, but lacking (sort of like another feature this year that would be a
little more on-topic)...

Mygosh, you're young! Corey Hart was a star from 82 to 88 also in the States
and all over Europe and Japan. He was under contract to be Marty in Back to
the future but then gave up and Michael J Fox took the it.
Just in case you want to see some recent pictures of him
www.geocities.com/Area51/Nebula/4051/ch/foto.html
Mel
I am young, because I remember CORY HART from the '80s, or for comparing him to
DUCHOVNY!? LOL! 32-years-old is fairly young, but by no means am I a spring
chicken!eheh P.S. You have your celebs confused. ERIC STOLTZ was under contract
to portray MARTY MCFLY in BACK TO THE FUTURE. After the 1st two weeks of
filming, ROBERT ZEMECKIS had a change of heart. And as we know, the rest is
history!! Melissa, you wouldn't want to challenge me in MOVIE TRIVIA!eheee
And HART does resemble DUCHOVNY!! -D
We can hear you just fine. There's no need to SHOUT.
Especially since HARRY HARRISON now wears an earing in one ear! LOL! I assume
the connection stems from their similar grey hairdos!ehe Incidentally, HARRISON
is also Jewish!! Mother is Jewish, father is not! TALMUD always follows the
mother's birth right!
Janet, I was worried that my comments may sway your opinion of me!ehe At the
same time, be honest and admit that ESTROGEN is the primary reason behind
Dave's appeal!!ehe Women tend to view films differently than men. e.g. If DAVE
looked like ANDY DICK, you wouldn't give a rat's tuchis!eheh Sorry, but Dave's
monotone voice is irritating!ehe He needs to work on his delivery!ehe
..."Praying that Janet is still in my corner.." ehehe

Your prayers may fall on deaf ears, fanboy. And besides--what's wrong with
Andy Dick? True, his *behaviour* matches his name, but he's a perfectly
ordinary-looking guy, with moments of cute.
And I like David's voice just fine--what male critics don't seem to
understand is that David's subtlety (both his low-key physicality and his
modulated line delivery) is immensely rich to the right audience: namely,
women. Maybe you're not *supposed* to "get it". It works for *us*...
Uh, Harry Harrison is a sixty-plus SF author. Do you mean Mr. Ford? (I
personally don't dig "craggy", but I can see where other women might
appreciate that kind of look.) I hate quoting Adam Sandler (hell--I hate
admitting I know who Adam Sandler *is*), but from the Hanukkah song:
"Harrison Ford's half Jewish, Goldie Hawn's half, too--put 'em together,
what a fine-looking Jew!"
(Oh, and cool it with the exclamation points and the goofy onscreen
tittering you use elsewhere. People will take you more seriously...)
SANDLER'S one & only fluke accomplishment!!ehe Otherwise, he may very well be
the first unfunny JEWISH comedian!!ehe Yes, HARRISON FORD'S nickname is HARRY
HARRISON!
According to *whom*? You're not that great a comedian yourself...
>(Oh, and cool it with the exclamation points and the goofy onscreen
>>tittering you use elsewhere. People will take you more seriously...)
I meant this advice, and I would suggest you take it, and quickly.
According to educated film goers who value comedy!eheheeh Apparently, you have
never heard of WOODY ALLEN or MEL BROOKS! LOL! Sandler's films are for the
mindless. He makes asinine speech impediment noises and silly facial grimaces.
There is no break to his monotony!! Were you aware that SISKEL & EBERT named
THE WATERBOY the worst film of 1998!! You should see what SISKEL & ROEPER had
to say about his latest mishegoss!ehhe That of LITTLE NICKY!! The trailer alone
speaks in volumes!heh 1hr & 30 minutes of unfunny facial grimaces and
noises!eheh The reason why Sandler is allowed to make film after film, stems
from the mindless adolescents who shell out $8 to his his drivel!! They have no
clue when it comes to good comedy! Yes, everyone loves a silly comedy, provided
that it's funny!heh DUMB & DUMBER is one such comedy that comes to mind. But
Sandler!? PUH-LEASE!! P.S. I'm hella funny in comparison to Sandler!hehee Most
people usually are!ehh Give me another week and I'll have you pishing in your
pants!eheh Your bladder & kegel muscles will lose all control!hehee -D
Oops! I seem to have brought SISKEL back to life! LOL!heh That's EBERT &
ROEPER! And yes, SISKEL was Jewish!ehehe
(Darrin's pointless rant snipped, happily)
Uh, my point was that Harrison Ford and Harry Harrison were two entirely
different people, and that YOU were the only person who was confusing them.
I had never said that I liked Adam Sandler, nor cared to bring him up aside
from mentioning his song lyric briefly to agree with something you'd said.
I suggest you actually READ my posts before you respond to them, *ESPECIALLY
THE NEXT LINE* (and I'm yelling on purpose):

Janet, and my point is as follows: You wouldn't know true COMEDY, if it sat on
your face and did the MOE, LARRY & CURLY shuffle!heheheheheheeeeehehe
Sorry, but my laughter, capitilization, and exclamation points are all part of
my shtick!ehe A trademark if you will!ehe Janet, why are you being so testy!?
You went from digging me to carrying on about lousy cursor characters!? Where
is your THANKSGIVING DAY spirit!? ehe I guess you aren't different from the
rest, afterall! Oh well!! -D
He's now working for WCBS FM (OLDIES).
i'm shocked that he's still alive........he must be about seventy, by now.
wonder if he likes the x-files <G>?

The science fiction writer is probably that old, though I think still alive

the crew on WABC and the WMCA good guys. oh there were so many stations that had
yakkety-yak deejays. ah, but i'm giving away my age...........

Hey, Corey was contacted to do Marthy, too, but he didn't made through the
acting lessons. I remember an interview where he said that you can't learn
acting with a 6 months course:-)

Absolutely, especially in their youngest years
BTW, I'm 32 too:P

"What's true for most people in our position is you just want to do
something different. You're not tying to become a star, you're an actor
looking for a different part. I have a great amount of respect for actors
like David Caruso, Jimmy Smits, or Julianna Margulies. They turned down a
lot of money to do something very uncertain. Instead of applauding them,
people attack them." David Duchovny, MrShowbiz, April 2000
