I have decided that you are stupid. Like most of your posts. In fact
arent you the same dork that tried to proclaim yourself the king
of this newsgroup or something equally dumb? I dont know how long
this will last, but I really despise you at the moment.

Dear InterFerEnce,

I am the same idiot who has posted messages about being King. I don't
think that any of my posts have been stupid. No question is stupid. If i
want to ask about David's teeth, i think this is the place to ask it. If
one of my friends wants to know what David does in boredom when Iman isn't
around, then she will ask it. I live in America, and in America there is
something called the freedom of speech. In this i can say anything i want
to. You can choose to ignore my posts and what i say, but i sincerely
don't care. If i write something it is for me, and me alone. Not to gain
attention or to impress someone. I don't think that you do either. I
have read your posts myself in the past and i have no quarrel with you.
You have done nothing to harm me or my family ( Bowiefans.) You are just
making yourself bad by calling me a "dork," "dumb," and "stupid." Maybe
you weren't loved enough as a child or you were dropped on your head too
much, but i still love you. I respect you for writing me this letter and
posting it to the Newsgroup. It shows courage and honor. What i don't
respect is that you want to start problems in this Newsgroup. I may joke
around with Cygnetks, but we are friends. What you have written is
painful, but i will take it in stride. I don't think anyone really likes
to be despised. What i wrote about David was out of frustration and
jealousy. I know you didn't write me with the same motives. If you have
problems they can be discussed. There is a solution to all problems.
Just remember I love you, we all love you, and David loves you.

Love,
Antoine

Let's face it the man is not nor has ever been a Saint. He has done some
rather evil things. (of coarse none of us have ever...no, no) The
treatment of his family ie his brother...his so called friends take more
or at least took more than any friend should have too. The fact still
remains that the man is quite amazing. His music is iver growing and his
charisma on-screen is nothing short of mesmerizing. I havn't read any
references to "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" which in my humble opinion
is Bowie's finest performance.

He loved his brother...Idolized the guy! His mother is another story.
There was alot of conflict there.

His friends DID put up with alot -- but that's true of the friends of many
"rock stars"...It often goes with the territory. There's alot of
craziness in that world.

You are waving your fingers in other people's faces, shouting "Nyah, nyah,

You have the freedom to do that, but someone is going to slap you sooner

All questions are stupid

I am here because well, basicly, I want to be here. and right now, I
want tot pick at this post, because the contradictions amused me so
much... (pick pick pick, everybody's pickin!!! - PUCK)

And because of people who abuse "freedom of speech" I am embarassed to
even call myself an American sometimes. It's so frustrating to have to
be associated with idiots who enjoy shooting thier mouths off and then
hiding behind "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" as a defence for it... it's so
weak...

>You can choose to ignore my posts and what i say, but i sincerely

Oh, I disagree totally here... YOU DO CARE! Infact, it must have
really got to you in a heavy way to even bother following up on it. I
mean, look at your responce... if you didnt care, you would have left
it alone.

You say you write it for you and you alone, well, if thats true, why
dont you just do it in EMAIL then??? Might I suggest a good word
processor maybe??? Microsoft word is pretty decent... (i.e., you
don't write for yourself, you write to be seen, thats why we all use
usenet news)...

Painful??? C'mon, it was'nt THAT bad, your making this so dramatic...

How sweet, personal pointless attacks to them, then appologising and
loving in the same breath basicly... I thought you didnt care...

>Just remember I love you, we all love you, and David loves you.

LOVE, such a heavy word shouldn't be tossed about like this,
especially when you don't even mean it. (we American's suck)

Picking on someone for thier statements is one thing. You were
critisized for saying you hated Bowie (A foolish move in a news group
with his name on it, what were you thinking). You go on to explain you
FREEDOM to post what you want for yourself, YET, this group is for
ANYONE who wants to come in and play. And they do, we all do. Some of
us (like me) come and go, in and out all the time, some (like you)
hang out and spend alot of time here. BUT, that does not make us
different, or better, or anything at all... GET A GRIP ON YOURSELF,
everything you post is subject to answer by anyone, they can say what
THEY WANT because they have the freedom to do so (BY THE WAY: The
country you are from has no say here, this is the internet, not
AMERICA. i.e., WE ALL have a freedom to say what we want here).

I wasn't gwine to say much on this, but when you pick on someone for
no reason other than to boost your own ego and make yourself look
really stupid and foolish trying (in front of a potential few thousand
readers by the way, MOST PEOPLE LURK) it makes me angry. So, I like to
show it.

Personal attacks wont be tolorated, not while I'm around...

Hello all, my name is KAOS (Jason), and I plan to hang out here a
while... Let's all play nice and talk about our favorite dude :)

And if you DON'T LIKE HIM, why are you here??? BYE!

Oh please! He is never gonna be able to live any of this down, will he?!
Let's all have a collective pout about it!!!!!!!!!

I think David is a spiritual person; he's put all of those signals out
there, expressing his interests in Buddhism, etc. He's destined to work
out that karma on his own terms, and it's futile to try and put
value-judgments on him. If anything - his music has helped me to come to
terms with the term "evil" in an entirely different light... ;)

In another's humble opinion, "Just a Gigalo" was David's most sincere
on-screen attempt at portraying the loss of innocence; he was a gem!
(David also gave BABE his first big break by carrying Babe through his
major scenes. Betja didn't know that, huh?!)

So, I came in before, wrote my little reply, and here's what I get back in
private... I think my points were right on the money, dont you? Anyway, I
guess I better have another go... (DING!)

>AHEM!
>ALL RIGHT,BASTARD, YOU WANT TO PLAY?

Well no, not really, I mean, to be totally honest, this is all quite boring
to read, but I guess if your looking for me to, hell... why not...

>WELL, GET OUT OF THE FUCKIN' SANDBOX!
>First of all, DASIE does like Bowie, he is just currently angered by his

No, only the insecure males are. I don't deal with things like jealousy
myself, I prefer love and trust... MOST find that hard to deal with...

>SECONDLY, LEARN TO BLOODY SPELL. MY GOD!

Heheh, attacking my spelling now, okay, yeah... I never was much of a spelling
fanatic, kill me...

>Third, PERSONAL ATTACKS, NOT WHILE U R HERE, HAH!
>HAVEN'T BEEN HERE IN A WHILE, NOW HAVE YOU? EH?

Um, no, I haven't... See, I been doing alot of driving around the country the
past 6 months or so and met alot of people I know from the IRC channels I
frequent. So I appologise if I was missed or something...

>FOURTH, LOVE HAS MANY FACETS, U MALES MISINTERPRET THE MAJORITY OF ITS

Now THAT is something I totally agree with you on! I mean, if it were untrue,
males and females would have such a better time communicating with each other
don't you agree? Hell, I figure half of the problems (OR MORE) couples have
are for the very reason you mention! Although, like I said, I wouldn't know
too much about it myself, I'm secure in my own relationship. :)

>FIFTH, EVERYONE IS NOT USING USENET. DUH.

Who said everyone was using usenet? You need to pay a little more attention OR
work on your reading comprehension. My point was that the MAJORITY of the
people who use usenet (did you get it that time) DO NOT POST, they do NOT
reply, only read and move on. THERE, I THINK I said it plainly enough that
time...

>SIXTH, ALL QUESTIONS ARE NOT STUPID.
>(the oj trial is an exception, as well as the suspect;such a disgrace to

Opinions differ, okay, whoopie! You still havent gotten the point have you?

>SEVENTH, IF U ARE EMBARRASSED BY OUR UNITED STATES, THEN LEAVE, AN
>AMERICAN SHOULD FEEL PRIDE FOR OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS. (white trash, however,

You really need to work on READIN INTO what was being said... I am not
embarrassed by the country, but by the people who live in it. (The more you
type, the more I understand William S. Burroughs and Laurie Andersons words
around the idea "Language is a virus"...)

>IF U WISH TO RESPOND, GO AHEAD, I WILL FLAME RIGHT BACK. THE FIRE IS IN

I respond, have a nice day... till next time... <YAWN>

..until just now. <HUGE SMILE followed by WICKED "I kinda figured I'd get

will get the best of you and you'll have to answer it, it's a psychological
thing...

Jason,

I took alt.fan.david-bowie away from myself for awhile and i come back to
see you! What a surprise. I am no poet. I just happened to have a
little unitentional rhyme in my post to Kai. I find it strange that you
say that all of my posts are just attacks on others, but is that really
true? I would like you to research the facts here. I have posted many
things to this newsgroup. Some of them have been tiny jokes or little
personal anecdotes, but mainly my posts have been in reference to David
Bowie. I love the man as do most of us here. I have never personally
attacked someone in here unless they attacked me first. This newsgroup is
a happy family. Cyggy was kind enought to defend me, but her screams were
unneeded. You did nothing wrong. You were just stating your opinion.

Unintentional rhyme ?? I'd call it mouthing obscenities. If that was
unintentional, you need to work on your self-control. Or maybe you have
Tourette's of the fingers.

My impression is that your posts (and CygnetKS' - I have trouble keeping
you two apart) are either non-sequiturs, attacks, or when they have
anything to do with Bowie, they are nerdy stuff like "David, I know you
love me, you want to come all over me, you just don't know it yet". None
of these are the least bit interesting to the rest of us.

I may have attributed some of your posts to CygnetKS, or vice versa. As I
said, I have trouble keeping you two apart.

You're referring to Bowiegrrl's posts, at least some of the time. Dasie
is a guy, and neither he nor CygnetKS has said anything in regards to
wanting to have sex with David. But all three of them are young, and
rather honest about their feelings ( ; , which is probably why you are
getting them confused with each other.

Ouch. Your venomous bite does sting. I thought we were friends, but like

Why have you wrote something so sad and terrible? Considering we are all
Bowiefans in here, I forgive you. Can everone in hear get off of my back?
Since when was someone shot down by his peers for sharing his feelings?
Most of you are total strangers and because of our Bowielink i decide to
share my feelings. Kai, if you want to fight with me, then keep punching
me because i will not fight back. I have read your posts before and i
have found them amusing and entertaining. If you don't want to read mine

thoughts. I don't attack. I am attacked. Let's get back to the Duke.

Gee, thanks.

Have you considered WHY they're on your back ? That's usually the first
step to getting them off.

When the sharing was banal and repetitive.

It pays to think for a few seconds about WHAT you want to say, when you
say it on Usenet. Unlike in spoken conversation, one's utterances are not
easily ignored - others have to wade through them (unless they chose to
filter out anything with your name on it).

A regular Gandhi...

Thank you.

Actually, I think this post is a lot classier than the ones I have been
criticizing - you state your position clearly, and do not resort to
unpleasantness. You come across as a lot more intelligent than previously.

As far as I am concerned, this discussion has come to a conclusion.

I am no Ghandi or anything special, but i thank you for the compliments.
You are absolutely correct about everything you have said in the past and
in the present. Forgive me for what i have written in the past if what i
have written has been "banal and annoying." Once again, i have decided to
silence most of my posts. I haven't written much of anything in the past
few weeks and i hope you realize this. This original message of this
stupid post being the exception. I have questioned why people have been
on my backs, but i still can't understand. Forgive me for this as well.
Well, like you said this has concluded.

love,
antoine

Hope I haven't turned you off posting completely - that was not my intention...

That's what I did some weeks ago (BTW: My first filter ever on an author).
