I wonder about that.
I have never read anywhere that it was recorded in a studio
during any of the sessions. It may never have been and it
would not be the first time.

"Wunderbar" is German and means wonderful/marvelous. And I just started
to think the "wunderbar" is just one of those German words that made it
into the English language (like Kindergarten, Poltergeist, Hinterland
etc.), but according to your question it probably isn't.
I have no idea about "beershitz" though.
Not that I've ever heard.
No studio version could ever top the apocalyptic Ziggy movie version, capped
off with the surprise audience participation at the end.
I'd love to hear the reportedly cocktail-jazz-styled version from the *Outside*
tour.

Igor, the original sucks compared to Bowie's version. Don''t bother
I think that's matter of taste - but Bowie is really better.
Nevertheless I wouldn't appreciate word "suck" - vocal is sth scaring...
Brel had his own style and I respect what he did, particularly since
her wrote at least one brilliant song. But I don't like his style. And
that is the word I choose to describe it. Enjoy.
