Is it cos he wasn't very credible with his own shit?

One tune - one fucking tune - School's Out - and that was it, wasn't it?

Yeah, as far as capturing a zeitgeist - but it will only be forever famous or influential with subversive kiddies. I love it, actually. I like some of the others, but - errr - you mention AC as if he was something more than dusty old nothing.

"ELECTED"
My God, I forgot all about that tune.
How that occurred will forever remain a mystery because it is one, if not the most, favourite song of mine by Cooper.
Youtube here I come.

Just watched the video of Cooper doing Sufragette City.
What a pretensive piece of shit that performance is.
What the fuck was going through his mind, more so a lack thereof, to come up with that concept.
How DARE HE VIOLATE THAT PIECE OF ARTISTIC MAGIC?
Not only does he LYRICALLY BLATHER through it, but that motherfucker had the nerve to do it with tombstones as a backdrop!
Are you fucking kidding me?
I don't give a fuck if the likes of Jim Morrison's name appears on them, becauae that just prevokes me into penning a separate piece regarding that BLASPHEMY!
Anyway, thank you Alice for going out of your way to design a set that further hammers home the fact that David Bowie is dead.
I can't believe I said that.
David Bowie is dead.
Thanks for reminding me Alice.
And on that note, FUCK YOU!

Well the river's so muddy
But it may come clear.

Asshole.

You realise that Alice Cooper released "Under My Wheels" in 1971.. where Bowie's "Suffragette City" was released in 1972 and sounds just like it. So he is covering a song that was 'kind of' a rip off of his own tune..
