bowie net question???

could anybody rate the quality of service provided by the bowie net isp? say
as compared to my current isp AT&T??? please help....thanks

my bowienet CD came in the post today, i eagerly signed up for the full
service - i live in texas and i had a choice of only two lines in my area
that i could dial-up(one of them was long distance). the problem was that
even though both lines supported 56k transmission, the best connection i
got was 28.8k. of course this is not a reflection on the service provided
by concentric, the phone lines are probably to blame. my previous isp gave
me perfect 33.6k connections and they are a small local isp so i'm back
with them .

bowienet tech support was more than happy to cancel my registration for me
- no fuss there.
my advice - go for it...and if you dont like it, simply cancel.
