Every time I go to www.davidbowie.com, Netscape crashes just as the cool
graphics are showing up on the screen. Is anybody else having problems
with the site?

I've stopped trying. I have 32MB memory, and thought this would help. It
hasn't. Las time I visited, I got all the backgrounds and images, but could
load no text. If it is site with no text, then it's pretty boring. I've got
it linked from my web sites, but am considering dropping it. Anyhow, if you
are interested in db, <a href="http://www.etete.com/Bowie">Teenage
Wildlife</a> is really the only place to be.

No, it has always worked out just fine for me, but while just checking
it out I noticed there is a standard version and a shockwave version.
IMHO shockwave is a lousy plugin, so you may consider trying out the
homepage without it...

dick...@ix.netcom.com (DickMac) spoke unto the masses, and this is what was
said:

Ah, don't drop it! It's a damn pain in the ass, but it just takes a little extra
work to get onto it. Do you have Netscape 2.01? That's what I have, but when I
had Navigator Gold (before it BROKE... remind me never to download Netscape
directly from the website again) it worked perfectly. What I've found I had to
do at the Bowie website is turn off the Java and JavaScript (check the boxes
under Preferences/Security) for some pages, and turn it back on for others...
it's a regular pain in the ass, but worth it... you can try emailing Brian at
out...@musicblvd.com (I might have gotten the musicblvd part of the address
wrong)

Oh yes. I've had no problems whatsoever on www.davidbowie.com with
netscape 3.01 gold. Graphics, text etc looks just fine...

It works fine with Netscape 4.0 (Beta) too.
