SAN DIEGO:This Fall, Strong Women Enterprises presents a unique,
first-time event for fans of TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel:
BuffyFest San Diego 2003. On Saturday, October 11th, loyal fans of
cult television's sweetest success will gather at the downtown San
Diego Concourse to experience a day-long celebration of all things
Buffy.

Among the celebrity Buffy alumni scheduled to appear are three of
Buffy?s favorite villains: DANNY STRONG ("Jonathan"), ADAM BUSCH
("Warren"), and ROBIN SACHS ("Ethan Raine"). Angel fan favorite ANDY
HALLETT ("Lorne") will also pay BuffyFest a visit to talk about his
experience on the Buffy spin-off, as well as what surprises are in
store for viewers as the WB hit heads into its fifth season.
Additional fan favorites include Sarah Hagan, Kelly Donovan, Jeff
Ricketts and James Leary.

BuffyFest will also host a menagerie of special events throughout the
day: stunt fighting workshops, theatrical presentations, academic
discussions, a Buffy screening room, and a writer's panel hosted by
San Diego Buffy writers Nancy Holder and Jeff Mariotte.

Strong Women Enterprises is a San Diego-based philanthropic
organization devoted to assisting women in need. SWE will forward
BuffyFest's proceeds to several charities including: The National
Coalition Against Domestic Violence, The Breast Cancer Fund, the Rape,
Abuse & Incest National Network, and San Diego's own Sanctuary,
located in Ocean Beach.
