The Masonic calendar adds 4000 years to the A.D. (Anno Domini, Year of
the Lord Jesus Christ) calendar.
The Masons are in year 6001 A.L. now. According to them, A.L. stands for
Anno Lucis, i.e., Year of Light. According to others, A.L. stands for Anno
Luciferis, Year of Lucifer.
The Jewish calendar has its New Year's Day (Rosh ha-Shanna) set by the
first New Moon before the Fall Equinox. The Christian Church ecclesiastical
calendar year starts on September 1.
I don't know if Masons have a Masonic New Year's Day, other than January
1.
The astrological "Ages" last about 2,000 years. The present Age is that
of Pisces, the Fish. The Fish being a symbol of Jesus, this makes the Age of
Pisces the Christian Age.
The anti-Christian forces, Masons and the like, are eagerly anticipating
the end of the Age of Pisces and the beginning of the next astrological Age,
the New Age, the Age of Aquarius.
According to astronomers, the Age of Aquarius will start in 2300 A.D., or
thereabouts.
