Hey can anyone tell me what's been going on with this? I haven't heard
anything about this until now.

And since then things have been a little nuts around here.
But if you count up all the posts concerning the engagement,
I think you'll find more people have been happy for Conan
and have high hopes for the upcoming marriage and a smaller
number of posts that have had anything negative to say about it.
