You see, the joke is funny because it's all about how someone
is going to be repeatedly raped.

I'm not suggesting that any particular subject is off-limits,
but I think this fell short of the comic value needed to overcome the
questionable taste.

On a happier note, I liked Pierre Bernard in the five-million-
dollar jockstrap, but what made it genuinely funny was his unexplained
walking out of the studio to wait for a bus. It's inevitable to think
of a jewel-encrusted jock strap after the setup shown; doing something
odd is the creative and interesting part.

In HD, one could see that one of the framed certificates on the wall was
a Rutgers University law degree for someone named something other than
the name used in the sketch. Another of the framed certificates was a
citation from a chamber of commerce.

Might have been better if he'd actually gotten on a bus, but arranging
that probably would have been more effort than that bit really needed.

Oh, good eyes. I haven't got HD anything, although it does
happen I had to watch the show on the computer --- which I suppose is
technically HD --- so the screen was much smaller than normal.

Mm. Maybe. Although having him just waiting there meant they
could have cut back to Bernard waiting by the bus stop the rest of the
show. They didn't (or it was edited out), but they could have.
