I'm auctioning off my last box of Twinkies, they could be the last known to
man!

Why?, well it's like this kiddies...

The Teamsters' stranglehold on shipments of Interstate Bakeries Corp.
products spread throughout the Northeast Monday, creating some shortages of
Wonder Bread, Twinkies and other products.

A Philadelphia bakery was shut down after pickets appeared Monday, and
Teamsters planned to set up pickets in Buffalo, N.Y., as well. A New York
City bakery also was shut down over the weekend.

"It's a wave that's going to go right across the country," said Richard
Volpe, director for the union in the United States and Canada.

Don't Let Little Jimmy Dewars Dream Die!!
Jimmy Dewar, manager of the Continental Baking Company bakery in Chicago,
created the world's first tastebud-tingling Twinkie in 1930. A billboard in
St. Louis advertising "Twinkle Toe Shoes" sparked the idea to name the new
treat "Twinkies." Of his invention Dewar once said, "Twinkies was the best
darn-tootin idea I ever had."

Still in the box, never opened, in classic condidion, 70th anniversary
packaging, a collectors dream!

Aren't there other companies that make "twinkie" like pastries? Like Breaktime
or Little Debbie or Nabisco? or are they subsidiaries of Wonder Bread?
