Can you help me with this song? I used to hear it on CFNY in the 80s. It was a
female singer.

Lryics below.

Show me evidence
Something concrete
Some rememberance
Something I can touch
Something that will live on
Not these ruins
But a monument

Love me today
Tomorrow
we tear it down

Lets make love in the ruins
of our lives
lets endulge before we decay
Theres no room anymore
in this world that we made for the love that once swept us away

LOVE ME TODAY!

Any ideas?
John

I remember these lyrics which were indeed sung by a female vocalist. I
would love to hear that song again but sadly, I don't know the artist of
this song.

I *think* you might be talking about "Love Me Today" by Corect Spelling,
which was fronted by Michelle McAdorey, who is from Toronto (daughter of
Global TV's Bob McAdorey). Corect Spelling was a Midge Ure project, and
definitely had a Ure sound to it. McAdorey fronted Crash Vegas before they
split up in 1995.

I'm pretty sure this is the song, but without hearing the tune, I can't be
sure.

Thats who I thought it was and wrote down on a peice of paper years ago. The
reason why I think I never found the band or song was because I was spelling
the name of the band incorrectly. Isn't it Ironic? Don'tcha think! Ok bad joke.

Anyways, does anyone have this song or anything by them?

Oh, I see its Scott replying! Scott, Scott! He's our man! If he can't do it no
one can! lol.

I will start seeking out this song and If I find it I will let the group know.
Thanks for the input Scott!
