Buddy's Mother was Ella Pauline Drake, which actually means Buddy is a
relative of Sir Francis Drake down the family tree.

Buddy's middle name is "Hardin", and for some reason some people think
this makes him related to Glen D. Hardin of the Crickets which makes no
sense at all. Buddy's legal name was "Charles Hardin" deriving from two
of his grandfathers.

Buddy's Mom died in May of 1990 at age 87.

No, her maiden name was "Drake".

Hardin (Holly's middle name) came from his paternal grandfather's
middle name. His first name, Charles, was his maternal grandfather's
first name.

Thanks Rodger,
I thought maybe Glen D Harden that has played with the Crickets,ELVIS & others
might be related to Buddy.

According to Elvis's "Kissin' Cousins", they would all be related as
they are all children of Adam and Eve.
