Gabriel C. Koerner:
On the note of the adult segment, though, this was a highlight:
BRENT SPINER: (reacting to Tasha/Data erotic drawings) "What amazed
ME was not only how they got MY naked body just PERFECT, but yours
was downright *specific*." ::we hear Denise's embarassed giggling in
the background:: BRENT: "Wait, are you still recording?" And I think
I saw Ann Murphy, the Spiner Femme in his bushes somewhere. ;)
Rat:
A few of those folks were a little much for me, though--like
"The Commander" (I'm sorry...I *like* Star Trek, and there would
be *no* *way* I would refer to a co-worker as "Commander" just
because she wore a Star Trek uniform to work...) and that scary
Brent Spiner stalker woman. Pictures of pictures? "Brent Breaks"?
Come on, folks. Fandom is fandom, but this borders on pathological.
Gabriel C. Koerner:
Mmm hmm. This lady's a nut. She put me off from day one. A while
back, my dad was dating a woman who looked a LOT like her. I didn't
like her because the moment I saw her, it brought back "Spiner Femme"
memories, and set off ALL my weirdo alarms (I know, takes one to
know one...). I was a little put off by her at a pre-screening in
L.A. she was at when she approached me, I think I turned my back to
her and said something like, "Yeah, yeah, go take a Brent Break or
something."

The guy had to move when he got word that Anne Murphy was giving drive by tours
of his house. Security knows about her and all those involved in the
enterprise. Who are the evil henchwomen?

Gee, I'm sure he must have not been too happy having to ditch his own house
because someone decided to use it as tourist attraction.
Luna.:)
I know you all are just making a point, and I am no apologist for Anne.
However, fans have been driving past Brent's house for YEARS and he never had
to move before. Anne used to walk up the hill to his house pushing her baby
carriage. She documented the whole story of how she engaged him in
conversation in front of his house on her web page.
I think Brent had to move because the $5 million from Insurretchtion was
burning a hole in his pocket, and he wanted to see how the other half live.
;-D
Anyone know if he is settled in his new abode yet?

It is true that many Trekkies have drove past Brent Spiner's home, usually
through the courtesy of Miss Anne Murphy. Could be he got fed up with this
when it was mentioned on a movie about crazed Trekkie fans. Sure thing he's
pleased with the way this woman boasted about her crazed obsession with him.
<wink> That's why they are the best of friends, standing on his lawn and having
many wonderful conversations. <another wink>
Damein
Could be. Or just the fact that it's been going on for what seems to be years.

>It's a very sad thing. But Star Trek actors have to deal with a few of these

Practically any actor that regularly appears in a public performance has to
deal with crazy people stalking them at one time or another-- my best male
friend was harassed for weeks just for appearing in a professional theater
production of Hamlet-- and he didn't even have the lead!!

I'm sure people drive past your house all the time
without you feeling the need to move. However if
someone regularly stalked you and documented that
stalking on the internet, and furthermore gave
guided tours so that other like minded individuals
could also join in on the stalking, I'm guessing
that you might feel differently.

Intelligent people must shudder to think of how that
inocent child has been warped over the years. Human
beings with a concience must ask themselves why
they are enabling this woman's instability in order
to live vicariously through her warped activities.

And yet AOL hasn't seen fit to remove the page.

We hope that a portion of that five million will go
towards the purchase of a fence. A tall one.
> Anyone know if he is settled in his new abode yet?
I would be disgusted, but not surprised, if certain
people already knew not only the address, but whether
he was indeed settled in or not yet.

I think I like you, Monkey. :) And who are you?
Elizabeth
I think that given the situation, feeling a sense of security and privacy
probably was hard to come by. I think that most people would be very upset if
their home was a tourist attraction without them having approved of it.
Luna:)
> I think I like you, Monkey. :) And who are you?
Why I'm just a naughty little monkey of course!
Eeeeee eee EEEEEEK!
Um, yeah, of course. One without a single shred of taste appearantly
judging from your DejaNees homepage. :)
