This is where I will enlighten you the usenet peasantry of those
newsgroups that are ripe for trolling by masterful mischief
makers like me. Not only are they fun to troll, the concept surrounding
the group's creation in the first place is usually
pretty comical:
Loonie Groups: Alt.flame, alt.fan.karl-malden.nose,alt.aol-
sucks,alt.troll,alt.usenet.kooks: These groups all have names that
should say it all, they are dedicated to the very thing that you pissants
whine about, trolling. These are also groups well
past their prime and their reputations are more than obselete.
Alt.flame: Up until the early 90s, this group thought of itself as
the premier flaming group on usenet, and that was
debatable then, as I was able to make several forays into their newsgroup
and make several of the dregulars cry, but in this
day and age they cascade and resort to one liners and that's all they
seem able to do.
alt.fan.karl: thinks they have a similar reputation, yet, in fact
they are a crossroads of crossposting aNd little
else. because of that, the only reputation they have is laughable.
alt.aol-sucks: sadder than any other groups listed, one upon a time,
dedicated to the hatred of aol, but as everyone
has come to know how much aol sucks, the point is moot, all the former
regulars have left and the group is left alive by Dr
Harvie and a few other pathetic losers.
alt.usenet.kooks and alt.troll: these two have potential for
entertainment as they serve as recon points for good
groups to troll as well as sightings for new and interesting k00ks to
pester. They ebba nd flow, but are more fun than some.
The Political groups; alt.politics; liberals, republicans, fan rush
limbaugh, howard stern, liberatarian, et al. Every two
bit political opinion is represented by at least one newsgroup, often
many. Not to be redundant, I see no purpose in breaking
down every single political group again, as the threads of oen group
typically get crossposted to all of them anyway. The
funier bits in this arena are the never ending accusations by the lefties
against the Bush administration and the resulting
flame wars as the righties get ticked. And if you add in the religious
groups, notably christian, you get to tackle the gay
agenda and abortion as well. My two sense:
Abortion: Casual abortion is wrong, but it is not the place of some
southern baptist jowel faced fatass to tell
anyone else what they can or cant do when that same fatass cant even
control his own diet.
The gay agenda: There most certainly is a gay agenda to pushs for
acceptance of what is a deviant lifestyle. With
shows like the queer eye and the like they are trying to present
metrosexuality as something acceptable, where normals like
you and I merely dress like homos and that is the first step. You have a
right to be a sicko but expect the stigma, it part
of being a sicko.
The nutjob newsgroups: alt.bigfoot.research,alt.alien.everything,
alt.conspiracy, alt.fan.artbell: This groups are
fun because anythinga nd everything weird can rear its ugly little head
in here. Bigfoot beinga robot, crop circles and the
international zionist conspiracy, The funny thing is that most of the
regulars in these groups actually believe in the crap
they post about. These are some of the better k00k breeding grounds, same
can be said of some of the sci. groups where jack
sarfartii and ed conrad spew their drivel.
Ironically I feel the need to categorize the astrology loons by
themselves because with the Wollman faction's
presence you have taking on the k00kologist faction, but also there is a
hindu vedic faction pushing the notion that
astrology is valid science and with that you get the oppurtunity to start
flame wars that can spill over into the hindu
religious groups, the pagan groups as well as the sci groups, fun stuff
pissing off nutty new agers.
Also in a ripple of the hindu squad, you get spillover into pagan, vegan
and peta nuts whom all want you to eat your veggies
and be nice to animals, and I would have no issue with that if half of
these eco terrorists were also homo sexauls and nazis
all at once. I hate them.
Alt.support.childfree: The crown jewel of hatred towards breeders,
yuppie scum and ill mannered little brats. I
actually sympathize with these people, as they right. For every out of
control brat you ever see in the grocery store, you
know what they mean. Besides, this group is pretty resistant to trolling
but a good point for crossposting into parenting
groups where you serve notice of their soccer mom evil ways. Let me just
say that the regs of ascf often endorse my efforts
on their behalf and they are more than welcome.
soc.men, etc: The mens rights movement is simply a joke and these hotjobs
are trolled like fish in a barrel, they are nothing
but a bunch of losers trying top get out of paying their child support
and many of them like to abuse women and kids. As such
these folks are a goldmine, crossposting into the feminazi groups and
several other political ones makes for some fun fodder
as well, and one guy in particular, the seduction artist posts
voluntarily to both his seduction grouo and the women hater
groups, kinda gives you an idea of the kind of scum you're dealing with
there.
Sports Fans: You guys are just idiots, it's that simple. Notjing more to
it, you analyze stats, and the score averages of
someone getting paid to play a stupid game, it doesnt even matter what
the game is. You guys are just drop dead brain dead
and have nothing going for you.
I could never forget Eurtrash, and those around the world who suck on an
equal basis. I hate your anti americanism, you
liberalism and your appeasing of the Arab menace. But hey thats okay,
frogistan will be followed by croutistan and you get
the gyst. There will likely be more stans and spain before you cowards
wise up.
Conclusion: Usenet is no doubt a big big place, with many fun and
rewarding trolling oppurtunities, but that is where
crossposting is your friend, to maximize the bang you get for your buck.
Find as many like minded groups on bolth sides of an
issue and you will hopefully cause a flame war that will last for months,
if you find a third sympathetic group as well, go
nuts, the more the merry. So far I have covered the fun of trolling, my
favorite groups, and their inhabitants and why they
deserve the trolling. Now the real fun begins.
