Is it hot where you live? Hot weather kills my ambition to breathe. 100+
degrees here this week and I don't feel like doing anything. And I need to

It's been hot for a while, 90's mostly. My AC saves my sanity and allows me
to sleep. ComEd is printing money this year.

I grew up without A/C but the temps never went above 95, and that only for a
couple of days in August (like now). I have my homepage tuned to the town on
Long Island where I hope to move some day, and the highest it's been has
been 86.
Good grief, are we reduced to talking about the weather?

I get mean if I can't sleep due to heat. But I find a warm Fall day not as
bad as the same temp on a Summer day. Jeez I hate Summer.

I seem to recall one where the fat kid fell in love with the teacher, and
was practicing a speech to tell her about it, but he never got past "Oh Miss
Crabtree!" every time he tried something would interrupt.

This was a black woman with a load of wash she wanted one of the boys to
take up to the "big house". I may be mixing up episodes, but I think this
one dealt with the rich kid with a snooty mother or guardian not allowing
him to play with the Gang.

pedestrians.
