Hello world. Your help is needed. If you are a Vangelis fan, you have
probably heard his soundtracks to "L'apocalypse des Animaux", "La Fete
Sauvage" or heard the single "Sauvage et Beau" off the Portraits CD. All
this music was composed for films by the legendary director Frederic Rossif.
Sadly, his films have not been seen my most people outside of France. The
videos that have been released are made for the French market, in SECAM
format. And, the videos that have been released are long out-of-print.

DVD can change all that. Companies can chose to not set a region code for
older titles. And, for those outside of Europe, there are several DVD
players available that will play both PAL and NTSC DVDs. Of course, most
computer DVD-ROM players will play both formats.

Where am I leading with this? I am asking anybody who is even slightly
interested in seeing the films of Frederic Rossif, with music by Vangelis,
released on DVD, to PLEASE send an e-mail to a French company called
Editions Montparnasse. In the past, they have released some of these titles
on video. Here is the e-mail address:

wil...@editionsmontparnasse.fr

A discussion has already begun with them and they are considering licensing
Frederic Rossif titles for future DVD release, but you can help them with
this decision by telling them that YOU WANT THESE RELEASES! Here is a list
of titles they could consider for release:
L'apocalypse des Animaux TV series
George Mathieu ou le Fureur d'Etre
George Braques ou le Temp Different
Heureux Comme le Regard en France
Plus Vite Que le Soleil
La Fete Sauvage
Opera Sauvage TV series
Les Animaux des Frederic Rossif TV series
A la Conquete de Soi
Pablo Picasso Pientre
Morandi
De Nuremberg A Nuremberg
Beaute Sauvage TV series
Sauvage et Beau

So, PLEASE, write to Editions Montparnasse today! Many of these films will
be lost forever if somebody does not express an interest in them!

With thanks!
