I've found a blog-post with additional information and pictures about
those promotional hardsuit costumes the voice actresses had to wear.
Too bad that the blog author didn't show Tomizawa and Sakakibara:

There are(were) a bunch of those pictures in the digital B-Club on
Ravensgarage, including Linna's one... which had been squashed. There's a
bunch of BGC cosplay videos on youtube, however. Most of them seem to
suffer from the fact that they have to have real people inside them,
however, so the proportions can be off compared to the animated version.
They also have to be walkable, so no 8 inch stilts.

The Nené one, looks best though... was that the final one to be built?

BGC cosplay still occurs through. Here's a really good Sylia:

couple of Priss on youtube aswell.

I also found an interesting boomer cosplay while browsing the web for
ideas for my ADP project.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any of the ADP themselves, which was rather
annoying. Speaking of that project, I've actually finally started by
building a pistol.

Wait, I think someone in AnimEgo or used to be part of AnimEgo has one
of those hardsuits. I think theres photos of that on ravensgarage.com
because i remember seeing that. The story was I think it was some
contest and this guy was lucky enough to get the Nene Hardsuit.

Oh yea, I was kinda curious how that cosplaly was going Dartz.

You're correct. AnimEigo obtained several of the mock-hardsuits and
showed them on anime conventions. Later on, they've solved them on
eBay. One of the buyers donated several parts of the Priss hardsuit to
a former member here, Ben Cantrick, who kindly has given pictures of
the received goods to Andy to host them on his website.

:::sighs:::

Srsly, Alemann, make sure you have your facts straight before you go
running off at the fingers about things.
Animego obtained several mock hardsuits. I know of at least three :
Linna, Nene, and Priss. Two of those suits, the Linna and Nene
versions, were auctioned off on e-bay. I bid on them. I didn't win.
I'm still a little bitter about coming in second. I cannot speak to
the origins of the Linna and Nene hardsuits as I can't find pictures
of them at the moment and I've never seen them in person. Thus I
cannot compare them to the b-club images. I can tell you that the
Priss hardsuit is NOT the mockup seen in the BGC B-Club; there are
differences in materials and construction. How do I know? I'm the
guy that bought the Priss hardsuit mockup; or more accurately what was
left of the Priss hardsuit mockup. For whatever reason, somewhere
along the line while Animeigo owned it, about half of the Priss
hardsuit mockup went missing. They didn't auction it off. I obtained
it because I saw the pieces at the fringe of one of the pictures for
the other suits and inquired at Animeigo about them. I continued to
inquire and eventually convinced them to sell what was left to me for
a fair price. Those same pieces eventually ended up in Ben's hands.

Assuming that the Linna and Nene hardsuit mockups from Animeigo are
the originals seen in the b-club, this still means there's an original
Priss hardsuit mockup out there somewhere. That is of course assuming
it's survived this long.

I would only assume it might be in some closet in AIC HQ or someone
who works there has it in there house, or possibly buried in some
hidden basement at AnimEgo. Or AIC might have did what AnimEgo did and
just auction off the B Club copy ages ago to some fan so who knows.

Finding that seems to be like finding The Ark for anime fans :)

Exactly like the five remaining phantom episodes hidden deep inside
the AIC underground vault. ;)

I'm never really gone, just deep under cover, lurking in a kangaroo
pouch ready to spring at a moment's notice.
