Has anyone seen this film? It sounds like this is a sight gag (a treat for
Manilow fans) and doesn't really mean that the movie's about Barry. I'd be
curious to hear anyone's comments if you know more about the film. Thanks.

I saw this movie, and I really liked it. The character Barry is played by Tom
Green, and the Manilow joke is so funny because of Tom's character in the
movie, which is so totally opposite of anything you would ever associate with
Barry Manilow. If any of you have ever seen "The Tom Green Show" on MTV, you
know what I mean. He is sick, twisted, rude, obnoxious, offensive, and
completely hilarious to watch, as long as you have the stomach. The movie was
great, especially when they found out Barry's last name was Manilow. Everyone
in the theater was howling through the whole movie. I really enjoyed it.

Kelly :
Where do you live that you have a drive-in theatre nearby ? Aah, those were
the days !!!
Whenever I am at my condo on Cape Cod, I go to the Welfleet Drive-In. But
living in NJ leaves me missing the drive-in more and more.
And Dave - are * we * [ you and I ] near any drive-ins in VA ?
RJ
13 days until VA [ actually, will be in Arlington all this week ]

Just FYI Greg...I was at the convention Barry's fan club held in Pittsburgh
over the weekend during Copacabana the Musical's premiere, and his manager,
Garry Kief was there and told us that he signed off permission for Road Trip to
use Barry's name...so it was ok with them...
