This is a Youtube video clip of clothing designer
Leslie Hammel in Las Vegas. She is there to
see her long time friend Barry Manilow. Lesie
has over the years designed Barry's concert
and show outfits. Leslie is also the daughter
of Suzanne Somers husband Alan Hamel.

You're not missing anything. While I appreciate her creativity, not to
mention Barry's loyalty, I don't think her designs do Barry any
justice. At his age and stature, he should be wearing Tom Ford, Armani
or Hugo Boss...edgy, classic and elegant. Loud patterns (like that
terrible brown print jacket) look like someone's old living room
couch.

The link worked before, but not now. Her Facebook celebrity profile
page is also suddenly missing. I didn't "like" it, so now I can't get
to it.

The clip included a couple minutes of footage of Barry performing at
the Paris (that appeared to be taken from a cell phone during the
show), and a few seconds of him during a fitting (except his head was
cut off in the video so you could only see him from the neck
down....it was still him, though). There was also a brief interview
with David Rosenblatt and some other hand-held video of the inside of
the Paris casino.

Maybe she didn't have copyright permission for the bootleg concert
footage so Garry (or his invisible evil twin) removed it.

(I'm KIDDING!).

This video link had been lazily floating around on Twitter the last
several days. I think it reached the Manilow masses, and she was
probably overwhelmed by comments and friend requests. Her youtube page
offered a lot of personal videos to view on the right side. MHO
