This is posted on the official Manilow.com schedule. Guess they forgot to
send out a hotline.

Thanks for sharing this, Scooter. It's not listed on the Y's website
yet...

Someone was asking about it on the Ning thing, and in searching for info, I
saw it listed a blog, but with no source link (which drives me crazy). I
finally found the ad graphic when I clicked on the listing in the official
schedule on Manilow.com.

The silhouette of Barry reminds me of the one of Dolph Lundgren's
character when he was introduced prior to a fight scene in "Rocky
IV."
He, of course, didn't need shoulder pads. :)

Oops, I left out a word. Should be, "I saw it listed ON a blog..." It
didn't "list a blog." Small words can change meanings.

Do you think he might do some shows in NYC while he's there? I really
want to go back to NYC this year and would rather coincide it with
seeing Barry (and I trust him in NYC more having suffered the
cancellations in Vegas last year).

This should be an outstanding fundraiser for the 92 Street Y. I
used to stay there in my college days more than 30 years ago. The
setting would be intimate, given that the seating probably isn't more
than a few thousands. It sounds like you have to purchase one of the
ticket packages with dinner and can't see the show without buying the
package.
This may be just a show with Barry and piano as I can't see the Y
raising enough money to both raise funds and cover the expenses of a
sophisticated production as Barry would have in an arena or Vegas
show. For those that have the funds and can do this, it definitely
will be a memorable show. Marvin
