My friend has 3 extra tickets for Barry's Atlanta concert at Chastain Park on July 29, 8 p.m.
The tickets are in row G of the center orchestra section, and she's just asking for face value ($99.50 each).

Blossom, where there's a pavilion. *Every single seat* is out in the
open. When it rains... yeah.
Kittendaddy and I took a three hour shower at Chastain a few years
ago. It was called "Celtic Woman". Seriously, by the time we walked
out of there, we looked like we'd gotten in the shower and stood under
the water with our clothes on... that's how drenched we were.

Agreed, but I've seen Barry perform there twice, and the shows were both quite memorable. It did rain briefly during one of the shows, and he sang "Singing in the Rain" all the way through....quite fun. It was also quite colorful when all the umbrellas popped up.

I'm not sure how it is these days, but it used to be that people could bring in their own food. We thought "picnic" and packed a few sandwiches and chips, but the folks around us brought shrimp, pate, expensive wines and cheese...one even had a candelabra! We felt pretty silly with our bologna sandwiches and doritos!

Tell you what Suzan, your picnic sounds way more my style than the fancy stuff, nowt wrong with a good sarnie and doritos.

The umbrellas only make it worse if your in the right (or wrong)

umbrella which really didn't help any. We sat in the pouring rain and
ate our diluted wine and our soggy cheese. LOL
