I love going thru the Life.com image files for Barry- lots of great
photos.
Look Scooter, he started with black shirts waaaay back in the 70's-
though he was trying to disguise it- LOL!

Sadly, somewhere along the line, he became hopelessly addicted to them.
They're too funerary when that's basically the only color (or lack of color)
he chooses to wear these days.

BTW, a sampling of definitions of the adjective "black" according to

All great points for not wearing black constantly.
Of course, one good point...the laundry doesn't have to pay close

LOL! I think he thinks it makes him look 'slim'.

Not sure why Barry wears so much black, but it does seem to be one of
his signature colors.
I tend to have a lot of black in my wardrobe. Not all solid or all
black - but in an art sense, it goes with other colors because it's
neutral and has a bit of an elegant/ timeless feel to it. Maybe it's
because a bunch of us art majors all wore black too and it's something
that just hung on all these years. Maybe artsy types like
black. ;-)
