Barry in St. Louis

Evidently Barry was in St. Louis, MO, last night, according to several tweets
by various folks. He saw her show, "Irving Berlin's White Christmas" at the
Fox Threatre, and visited with her and the cast afterwards.

Music superstar makes surprise appearance at the Fox

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- Wednesday night's performance of Irving Berlin's
"White Christmas" had a bigger star in the audience than was on the stage.

Singer-songwriter Barry Manilow surprised his good friend Lorna Loft and
flew into St. Louis, along with a small group of mutual friends, to
surprise Luft in her dressing room after Wednesday night's show.

"My dressing room door opened and they all yelled 'Merry Christmas.' I
almost had a heart attack," Luft said.

And just to make sure it remained a surprise for Luft, Manilow and his
party even bought their own tickets instead of using VIP comp seats.
