Maybe dennis-little-d needs to broaden his syntax, so sharing ideas

In all kindness. Have you thought about what might happen if you someday
decide not to have a 24-hour webcam in your home. What if, say in a few
years, you decide you want some privacy. These pictures will still be there.
Or what if you become a big time celebrity (I mean really big). Imagine what
the tabloids could do with it (and they will!).
I don't mean any harm. You decide what to put on the cam, and only you. Just
hope you've thought it through.

I like that little mental shift.
(Somehow this is connected to art. See below.)
> personally, i liked your pre-surgery images
My personal definition of "art" puts a high value on images
that evoke _deep_ reactions. (Certain conditions apply, but none
to anything I've seen on ana. (eve was taken :-)))
I therefore place high artistic value on the "cute
little punk rock girl" image on the upper right. Not only _what_
it evokes, but why? There are a zillion nude anas. _Why_ do I find
_that_ one erotic?
I unfortunately missed the "ana fucking" images. If some artistically
edited portion were available, it would be interesting to see if any
of them evoke _particularly_ erotic reactions. It's the same ana.
It's a "more compromising" image in our culture. So why or why not?
Who else thinks so???
Isn't graphic inquiry the _definition_ of art?

Perhaps you believe only Ana has the right to free expression. I
disagree. I know, I know, you don't want to hinder people from
speaking their minds you just want to control what they say. Well it
doesn't work that way, and certainly not in a public newsgroup. He
didn't call her any names, that was you who called him names. Perhaps
its you who owe him an apology... unconditionally... in the spirit of
art and free expression and public newsgroups. Can we get so close to
something that we're no longer able to discern what it is?

I understand the concept of free expression quite well, thank you. It gives
people like you and me the right to say anything they want, in any manner
they want, so long as it does not endager the safety or well-being of
others. But, the manner in which you choose to express yourself says a lot
about you. And as for the use of clever words - we never hear the phrase

no, preachy is a stupid word - imho
dennis-little-d, you miss the point. The people who frequent this newsgroup
are all about the freedom of expression and ideas and opinions. We all
share an affinity for Ana Voog. Some visit Ana to see if she is nude, some
view her life as art/art as life, others are simple drawn to the experience
of a person sharing a portion of their life with the Internet viewing
public - why you watch is really your own business. My point is Ana has
become a part of life for many people. When you wrote those words, some
people viewed that as disrespect. You should not be surprised by that or
their reactions.

First off, let me say that your last sentence, "Can we get so close to
something that we're no longer able to discern what it is?" was
beautifully put.
Also, while I still feel that the original poster's comments and replies
repeatedly make me think that he's little more than the 69 Corvair hood
ornament in the garage sale of life, you do raise a point. He wasn't
calling names, and was really just commenting, albeit crudely, on a
publicly available image he saw in a forum where such discussion *might*
be considered appropriate, depening on your views. I'm a big crusader for
free speech and expression, and sometimes it takes comments like yours to
drag me back down to earth and remind me that *everybody* has those
rights, including people saying things I might now want to hear, or doing
so in ways that I wouldn't.

language IS important. there is power in words. choose them wisely, i say.
how u use language defines u, it is your clothing. it's the hat u choose 2
wear that day.
people will react accordingly. like a bull to a red piece of cloth, or the
opposing side to a whote piece of cloth ( surrender).
i have nothing against the word "fuck". i love that word. it's probably my
favourite, because of it's versatality. but because it is so versatile, it
is not always a "good" word 2 use when 1st introducing yourself. "watching
ana fuck" as the 1st post in a newsgroup, to me, sounds like he was
INSTIGATING a flame war. to b totally unaware that this is the way he
presented himself would be to be very unobservant and just plain stupid,
imo.
ya ya, freedom of speech and all that. go ahead, say fuck all u want. but
it's all about the CONTEXT, the WAY u say it.
don't expect people to b in awe of how "free" u r , and go "oh man , what
a great example of freedom, i LOVE u!!" if u come in and FIRST thing say
"watching ana fuck"
people are not going to react to that as the epitome of a free world.
anyway, i do endorse apologies. i think they are a VERY necesarry part of
communication and growth in any relationship. i mean, if you're really NOT
sorry, then DON'T apologize..lying is even worse.
nothing is so lame as an empty apology.
but if truly u are NEVER sorry for hurting someone ( and i'm sure everyone
has if u are a living being), then u might want to take a step back and
see if u r a WEE BIT selffish in your actions towards others.
people that are never sorry are people who have no conscience, like manson
or hitler or something.
true psychopaths. scary.
and there ARE a lot of people who have no consciences out there. it's
pretty scary to me.

Is it respectful to beat the snot out of someone who uses language that is
sometimes considered profane when speaking of the actions that a woman has
willingly made public?
It seems like a polite expression of contempt to assume that She needs you to
take care of her. This seems far more disrespectful than someone saying they
enjoyed watching what she enjoyed sharing.

1. I, among others such as Gladwort and Ana, though dennis's first post
could be a viewed as a slam, rather than the compliment that he obviously
intended it to be.
2. As I stated before, I will vigorously defend someone I believe in or a
viewpoint I support. I failed to say that I will also defend a person's
right to have an opinion in the first place, whether I agree with it or not.
3. Ana doesn't need me or anyone else to defend her (A chorus of "Damn
right!" and "Amen, Brother" from the peanut gallery). She is intelligent
and articulate; she can defend herself quite well, I assure you. I have
seen/read her flame someone on dankitti's board - she can toast someone with
the best of them. She was quite explicit and expletive! She's a big girl.
If I offend you Ana for defending you, then I apologize (and I mean it!).
4. I also extend an olive branch of peace and goodwill to dennis. I
welcome you opinion and acknowledge your right to express them as you see
fit. I must say that I will not hold my tongue should I be offended and I
look forward to "pithy pseudo-intellectual" exchanges in the future. (Sorry
dennis, I couldn't resist - I hope all is peachy!)

Ana eats? I have never seen her eat. I thought that was how she stayed so
thin. Well, never eating and naked-phone-book-step-aerobics.
Brilliant idea for Ana to raise money: An Ana Voog
Naked-Phone-Book-Step-Aerobics Video. It would sell millions, well... um,
maybe not exactly a million, but it would sell. Now we need a snappy name -
like "Sweating Through The Yellow Pages" and we could use Ana Voog music
for the sound track. Now doing this thing in the nude limits the commercial
tie-ins, but we could push a line of Ana Voog sweatbands...
Remember, there is a fine line between brilliance and bullshit. Brilliance
sells; bullshit stinks.

This is all well and true. It can also be said that how you interpret what
others say also defines you.
When communicating in written language a person needs to think a little harder
about the context of
any authors statements. In the absence of vissual expression and vocal
inflection it is easy to misunderstand intent. Those who are on the defensive
will find a lot more hostility than those who
have a more positive view. This is a lesson that is quite a challenge for me
personally.

Now I don't feel so bad. :-)
I have pringle atop my fridge now. And for a soft drink, I'll do an ice cream soda
with all natural vanilla icecream and Pepsi one.
The gummy worms are just out of the question, though, I'm afraid. Ewwwwwww.
anyway, my reaction to seeing the subject was much the same as what i think
other people felt -- i thought it was crude, and quite possibly the work of
some idiotic horndog using anacam as some free pornography. the body of the
message didn't help, with comments like how ana was "suck(ing) a big cock"
and "taking it doggy style."
there have been other posts along the same lines before, so the skeptism
filter is up for anyone who's read this group for a while. i suppose that
those of us who want to think of anacam as an artistic work sometimes cringe
when it's brought to our attention that there are others who might think of
it as a way to occasionally see some tits or maybe a blowjob or two.
i'm looking at it this way: if i came in here and my first post ever to the
newsgroup was something like "ANA HAS GREAT TITS", i'd expect some nasty
reactions.

I don't think any is called for. What was called into question
was your _intent_, ie; to start a flame war or not.
You say "No". I see no subsequent evidence.
Good enough for me.
>seeing the title "watching ana fuck" i immediately thought it was a flame.
very interesting. that somehow says more about you. yes, 'watching ana fuck'
is raw, it's crude, it's not very intelligent or romantic sounding but i think
it's highly weird that you, ana, would automatically rush to judgement that a
post with 'watching ana fuck' as it's subject is meant in a negative way
towards you. call me naive but i've been posting on these newsgroups for years
and i'm STILL shocked at the lack of fun and humor many usenetters possess.
ana, i always kinda figured that you were the fun-spirited folks on the net
and not as uptight as many of the "true" ana fans seem to be.
>language IS important. there is power in words. choose them wisely, i say.
yeah but who are you to decide what words are powerful or whatever. words are
a hassle most of the time. i often find myself sad and frustrated at my
inability to communicate the way i want with mere words. they can suck as much
as they are good little things.
>how u use language defines u, it is your clothing. it's the hat u choose 2
>wear that day.
it's funny but i've heard rush limbaugh say that very same thing. i don't get
the hat thing.
>don't expect people to b in awe of how "free" u r , and go "oh man , what

>"watching ana fuck"
i hardly think that free speech is there for us so that other people will be
in "awe" of us. i really don't think too much about that stuff too often.
hopefully, you don't either.
>i have nothing against the word "fuck". i love that word.
i do too and have loved it since the first time i used it which was around the
age of 8 or so. and you're right, it's versatality is awesome. but i have to
admit, i love using the word "fuck" in the sexual context. it's just so right,
so on. when i viewed those pics of you fuck...er, excuse me, HAVING SEX with
your male friend, it was an incredible and liberating turn-on mainly because
up until that time, i watched you sleep, eat, watch tv and play on your
computer. watching you fuck somebody somehow made you a warmer, softer (but
not soft just in the girl-sense), more REAL person and it was then that i
realized how much respect and appreciation i have for you and what you've
meant to many of us. i wanted so badly to e-mail you and say hi, and tell you
how much i love that you're in this world with the rest of us and ask you how
what it's like to do something so incredibly courageous and freeing as
allowing yourself to be seen being penetrated or giving head by millions of
people worldwide. i wish i had a tenth of the guts to do that! of course, no
one would pay to see ME ;)
in closing, i won't apologize for anything i've said in this newsgroup so far.
when i'm wrong, i'm wrong and i'll cop to that but i will NEVER, can you hear
me ye ana-worhippers, NEVER apologize for saying what's on my mind or in my
heart, no matter how unsophisticated or un-hip i might appear.
ana you make me smile often and i'm not talking just the sex/nudity stuff
(though that's pretty fucking nice, i must say). i don't want you to think of
me in a bad way but then again, in the grander scheme of things, i suppose it
doesn't really matter anyway, now does it?

and so what if it does. this is a goddamned newsgroup, for heaven's sake! i'm
not here to make "online" buddies. your opinion of me doesn't mean a great
deal because much of this is so NOT-reality. we're all hiding is so many ways
here. i am. you are. ana too! let the fact that i use words like (cover
your eyes, uptight ones!) "fuck", "cock", "pussy", "asshole", etc. etc. say
something about me. the world could use alot more fucking and sucking and
a helluva lot of all the negative junk many of us just let whizz past our busy
lives every minute of the day. just cuz i choose to NOT put it "eloquently"
doesn't make it any less important. and for pete sakes, the ana-fuck pics were
raw as hell. it looked sweaty and salty and sweet and groovy and nasty and
wild and about as far from "eloquent" as you can get. it was bare bones and
quite beautiful and that's how i viewed it.

no i didn't. newsgroups are full of cool people and they're full of goofballs
who take life and things way too fucking seriously! much of the response to my
initial post prove that. you're trying to paint me as some
ana-hater/disrespecter and nothing could be further from the truth. i'm a long
time fan. in fact, i know the guy who created this very newsgroup. he's a near

thank you chris. i totally agree. i remember logging on to one of ana's irc

"conversation" with her. it was alot of fun but brief and i remember someone
attacked me for saying something that apparently wasn't up to par with the
"high standards" of that particular room (puh-leez!), you know, a hardcore ana
"fan". they had taken what i had said (probably having something to do with
the current topic or something simialr, i can't remember) and turned it around
to make it seem as though i was some jock or redneck who had "no idea of what
ana's about". to ana's credit, she stepped in and suggested that people chill

The actual process of "creating" a new group, if you are going for the
"alt" hierarchy is easy. Any paid subscriber to one of the bigger NNTP
providers, (i.e. I use Remarq, formerly SuperNews... great service, by
the way.) can institute a new group on their servers. The trick is to
get it accepted by the general Usenet community and get it propogated
out to all the other servers. To do that, you will need to follow the
rules of making a proposal in alt.config or alt.news or whatever the
hell the control group is, get a vote on it, and if it passes, it will
be a much more widely available group. To go the other route, if
somebody here, (me for example) got it newgrouped on their providers
server, then all of you sent letter to your providers at
sysa...@yourprovider.com, they would add it for you, and at least
everybody here would have it. It could spread further from there as
word got around, but it's a much slower process.
Either way is TONS easier than trying to get a new group added into
one of the big eight (rec, misc, comp, etc.) They have an ancient cabal
keeping a bloody stranglehold on the system, and your odds of getting a
new group added there are about as good as Christ showing up at your
door tonight asking if you have a spare bottle of tequila.

if people here were offended by anything i've said, that's not such a big

yep. and you swallowed as much of it as anyone else here! by the way, if i

Why defy your true nature. What if it became politically incorrect for women to
protect children and men? That would create extreme chaos in the minds of
women. This is the case with men who in a general sense instictively want to
protect women and children. I think this is truely what falls under the over
taxed term of "family values". This does not mean that they do not take women
serious on any level. The problem is that men who would like to percieve women
as a subspecies stand out and all that is masculine about them comes under
attack. When these traits become the focus of the battle then more problems are
created. Political correctness is a way to get people to think about the
situation of others. When it becomes hard line gospel instead educational
guidelines then the purpose is defeated.

aw-shucks-I'm-just-a-rude-cob-but-no-harm-meant posturing, that he hadn't
read before posting or had and chose to troll us anyway. Nope, I didn't
trust charming Dennis then and don't now.
I remember Nixon saying "I'm not a crook." And didn't bother to
mention, "But I am the anti-Christ." So Dennis can say what Dennis wants
to say, but Dennis is a self-serving son-of-a-bitch and will dance like a
drop of water on a hot griddle, but I don't see him as One of Us no matter
how much an ana-fan he claims to be.
Sorry, Dennis, but you splash in here as a goober and it's going to
take some time before I read anything from you that puts you on a par with
the Twigglet (whom I like). And it doesn't matter to me that you gargle
with a mouthful of shit and don't mind the taste, and you can feign
surprise that others don't like the taste, but this is part of that oily
disingenuousness I'm talking about. It just seems to me that no one at
this stage of the game with a mouth as full of shit as yours is can
pretend to be as shocked by the furor you've raised here.
That's my take on it anyway. You're not innocent. You're not a Good
Guy. You're still a goober. I don't trust you.

Yep, them's the meanings I was drivin' at and I stand by it. You might
add to Dennis' "crimes" in my book a little prolixity, circumlocution and
obfuscation, too. And notice I'm not calling him anything but
coolishly-thoughtful intellectually weighted words instead of a degenerate
cocksucker, even though I might be *thinking* that and <aw shucks, folks,
I'm just a rude cob :::grin::: can you evah forgive me?> talk like that in
real life and at heart I'm actually a *fan* of both Dennis and the First
Amendment.
You may not be a regulation-sized troll, Dennis, but I think you're a
troll doll, like the ones with the fake fur dayglo hair. And I'd trust you
about as far as I could shot put you, and I'm still strong enough to toss
you for a state record.

Oh, poor wounded babee, have I inadvertently walked on your testicles
with my golf shoes? Damn, that's just me, dude. I flame, I kid, but I'm
really a fan of yours. You just didn't realize that I like to use the 4 x
4 white pine stob with the five-pound sledge to pound my point up your
bloodied asshole, questioning your intellectual abilities while doing so,
stomping your fingers as you cling to the ledge, and giving you cold
sweats and nightmares at uncovering the one scorpion in this NG who's
genial until some jerk (mirror time, Dennis) pulls my pin. Too late to
realize you're allergic to shrapnel, so dopn't go all passive-agressive on
me with this elitist crap and how wounded you are as the victim here.
You could always make it easy on yourself....
And you say ana loves me? What have you heard? :-)

Travis - which the now self-effacing 'dennis' would know if he reads
who these messages are from, suggesting more of his oily etceteras. Feh.

yeah, yeah, that's it. i'm just some thin-skinned ninny who accidentally
walked into a verbal beatdown from yet another cyberspace intellectual and is
now crying about it. puh-leeze! i've handled alot of you guys' reaction to my
initial post with a sense of humor, why am i not affored the same courtesy?
Damn, that's just me, dude. I flame, I kid, but I'm

smartest thing you've said this entire time. give me a few days and i'll creat
'alt.fan.dennis-little-d' for you. how's that?

please stop. you REALLY need to stop watching 'star trek' or 'x-files' or
whatever the hell goofs like you watch and read to make you so annoyingly
over-dramatic. i know, i know. it's all that abundant intellect that makes
you spout off those $10 words but you're impressing no one but the next
a.f.a-v nut who got theirs feeling tweeked by my harmless and healthy post
about ana fucking. you really think you've given me "cold sweats and
nightmares" here, buddy boy? come wit' it.

oh no. i am no victim nor do i play one on your computer screen.
> You could always make it easy on yourself....
you're right but i think i'll stick around a little longer.

bunches. she tells me EVERYTHING.

ugh..huh?

If you're serious, it's because some users don't use Forte Agent, and
when somebody posts a binary file, these users have to scan through
however many messages that file is broken into. It's an inconvenience,
and that's why we try to keep binaries and banter seperate.
