Who says young people today have no role models? CNSNews.com has video
of politician turned global warmist guru Al Gore making his exit from an
energy-conservation conference in a "long-idling limo."

Perhaps inspired by the erstwhile veep, 15-year-old Liza Stoner
undertook a "Ride for Renewal." The Star Tribune of Minneapolis reports
she pedaled 1,500 miles and 32 days from Minneapolis to Washington. Upon
reaching the capital, she presented her senator, Amy Klobuchar, with a
"petition in support of electric vehicles, which has more than 1,200
signatures from her neighbors to environmental enthusiasts nationwide."

Liza didn't do it all alone, the Strib notes:

Her father, Jeff, and 8-year-old brother, Christopher,
traveled in a support vehicle--ironically, an SUV--loaded
with bike parts and food.

Rather than taking separate SUVs, Jeff and Christopher carpooled. Way to
reduce your carbon footprint, Stoners.

It is simply breathtaking to watch the glee and abandon with which
the liberal media and the Angry Left have been attempting to turn
our military victory in Iraq into a second Vietnam quagmire. Too bad
for them, it's failing.

So it's Gore's fault the limo was idling? Good one Ubi!
