Well, you might manage to squeeze a worm through the cd drive? ^_^

(The only animal in the game is the guinea pig, which is downloadable at
the Maxis site)

Easy question to answer. You can't. Other than fish and
the guinea pig, there aren't any animals available. As I
understand it, the way the movement is handled by the game
is designed around two legs. It's just not currently possible
for them to add dogs or cats (or horses, llamas, wheelchairs,
centaurs, and so on).

The only animals the game can have are ones that don't
wander around, like the guinea pig or the fishtank. The add
on in the fall might include a parrot.

Well, I have seen a Scooby Doo skin, as well as some of monkeys (or
chimps or some sort of ape). They're animals, sort of.

Actually, seeing what nasty things most people apparently do to their
Sims, it's probably a good thing are aren't pets in it....

Yes, it is. Actually, it's an alien life form
that only looks like a fish tank. One day I forgot
to feed it, and when the maid went to clean it, it
ate her.

(I have a feeling I've just started a horrible new rumor.)

Pets, no. And yes, IMO it suuxx. Parrots would be way-cool & I'd
be really happy to get them. Parrots that bite irritating Sims
are infinitely cooler than mellow ones. Hee hee hee

Aladrin has a tiger-girl in both orange & white fur. She even
keeps her tail & cat-ears when she swims or goes to bed. Very
cool.

I am in the midst of working on a leopard-girl skin for her
model that looks really cool so far.

(Omigosh-- I *MAY* have just pushed FC's button with that...lol.

Oooo, a leopard? Great! I was wishing I had the time and patience to do a
leopard. Would the tail work on male skins?

You can easilly get the tail to work on a male sim-- the trick
is in the cmx file & the way you rename the x-skins. (Sorry,
Aladrin, I'm about to pass along one of your secrets...) The way
it was handled, was to associate all the add-on parts with the
sim's HEAD cmx file, the body cmx only had the body mentioned.
Since the head doesn't change, the parts turn up on all normal
outfits without affecting the body skin itself. The only real
problem you might have with that cat head model is that it only
comes in female & the ears are built-in, as opposed to being ad-
ons. (Aladrin did a killer job on that head, BTW- it only has
about a million vertices & he did such a nice job with the
muzzle! lol) I suggest, if you want a male cat with ears, try
the smaller version of the Devil horns with a suitably renamed
female head. Seneca's has the horns, so as soon as he's back up,
they should be available. In a pinch, I can send them along to
you, if Seneca's doesn't return soon.
I've adapted this cmx trick to a couple of the Devils I have out
terrorizing my Sims neighborhood, and they bathe & sleep in
their tails & wings. I'm not sure how this is handled for career
outfits yet-- my only employed devil hasn't had his file changed
just yet. (d'0h!)
This has opened up a wealth of possibilities in the skinning
department. Now Indianna Jones will be able to lose the hat
while showering & at bedtime, etc...
I'm going to find out if changing the cmx after the character is
created is a workable thing. I'll let folks know when I figure
it out.

PEACE!

Well, it wasn't a complete secret. :) When the head-with-a-flower first
came out I tried it in a cmx file with the sarong but I found that it
crashed with some of my custom heads. I'm guessing that the flower somehow
appeared too far inside the head or some such. What I did not know in this
instance was how the tail would line up with the more masculine buttocks. I
envisioned a tail beginning a couple of sim-inches from the hinny. <g>

I'll keep an eye out for your leopard lady. :)

A tiger girl? I'd love a tiger girl. Can you point
me to a web site?

Can you imagine if the parrot starts to say "Tira mah!" and "This graw

Hi regal!

The tigresses are on Aladrin Kelahn's site ... just click on Skin
Gallery, then Morphs, then Tigress:
http://www.kelahn.com/TheSims/

JM's SIMply Elegant has a few additional (gorgeous!) outfits for the
white tigress:
http://www.crosswinds.net/~astasia/
(Warning -- it takes an unbelievably looong time to load the page, but
her faeries & elves are wonderful, marvelous, amazing!)

Enjoy,
Kirrha

Thank you very much. These are beautiful. Can't wait to
try them. I've been looking for morph skins, but up until now
haven't found any, at least none worth mentioning.

Considering how many furry artists there are out there,
I'm surprised. By now I would have expected there to be dozens of
morph skins available, but these are the first good ones I've seen.

I down loaded several of the fairies from JM's site. However, the one with
the antennae crashed my game and I've been too chicken to try anymore.
Aladrin's warrior elf woman is gorgeous and didn't cause any problems. I
just need a male to go with her! The pixies also caused no problems. I may
try the others, but I hate the recovery work when things crash.

there's a rodent. (Hampster or guinea pig, I can't remember which!)
There's also some fish which are REALLY interesting. (joke)
And a moose's head. I don't personally see the point in that one...
Otherwise, there are no animals because nobody can figure out how to make
them! When they do, we'll let you know.
It'd be cool if you could have a pet elephant! I'll put that forward to
Maxis...
