WIll summarize beginning of article, to save time:
Article says human brain has been shrinking ever since the (mythical)
stone age. Size has dropped from 1500 cc to 1350 cc, "losing a chunk
the size of a tennis ball."
Evolutionism is a myth and this is just another one of a huge set of
evidences that this is the case. See links at end. Instead of the
"Ascent of Man," title of a popular PBS series from years ago, it is
the "Descent of Man," as the biblical account explains. The article
author even references this contradiction, expliclty.
Of course, in the article, an evolutionist explanation is given. As
pointed out by many, evolutionism is not "falsifiable." That is, no
matter what facts are discovered, they can never disprove nor cast
doubt on evolutionism. That's because evolutionists always twist and
turn to make the theory take in any new, contrary evidence.
Example: If earlier HUMANS (as opposed to MYTHICAL prehumans called
"hominids" and "hominoids") had smaller brains, and the brain was
shown to have gotten larger throughout human history, then that
evidence would fit with evolutionism and evolutionists would tout it
loudly.* Since, instead, it turns out the human brain has gotten
smaller, since it turns out our ancestors had bigger brains than we
have, then evolutionists don't skip a beat. They just come with a
"just so" story to make the contrary evidence seem to fit in with
their theory. Thus, the arrticle sites the claim that as civilization
advanced, individuals needed less wits to survive. So the brain
shrunk. See, they've proven evolutionism AGAIN!
(*I'm not so sure the shrinking of the human brain is being touted
loudly.)
The non-falsifiability of evolutionism is like the non-falsifiability
of the Big Bang Theory, including its theories of star and planet

Compelling, overwhelming evidence exists in favor of the biblical
worldview, the view that the Bible is literally the Word of God,
including that God had (and has) the power to create the Universe in
an INSTANT, but took six calendar days to do it for symbolic reasons
of His own. See links at end.
The Bible prophesies that in the end times, people will be "lovers of
themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to

I think there is another prophecy about people being "puffed up" in
the end times.
Of cousrse, human nature has always made us proud and boastful. FUTURE
(and present) reasons would include those that relate to the concept
of, "Look what fantastic things we can do,
look at the power we have with our science and technology."
But the ancient patriarchs would not envy us. First of all, up until
the Flood of Noah, for which there is compelling, worldwide geologic
evidence (see at least the icr.org link at end for this), the world's
climate and ecology, for sure compared to today's, were UTOPIAN.
Before the Flood, the earth's climate system made the whole planet, or
most of it, a balmy greenhouse. There was a canopy of moisture in the
upper atmosphere that was a big a part of the reason for this. Part of
what happened at the Flood was that this canopy crashed down to
earth's surface.
(Modern scientists always assumed that the upper atmosphere was bone
dry. Its moisture level was actually unable to be measured either by
aircraft [too low] or by satellites [too high]. Then, in the 1990s,
high-atmospheric sounding rockets began being sent into the upper
atmosphere. To their total surprise, they discovered what they decribe
as a "reservoir" of moisture in the upper atmosphere! Thus, a remnant
of the pre-Flood canopy remains to this day.)
Another reason the patriarchs of Man would not envy us is because,
before the Flood, the human lifespan stretched to several hundred
years. A big part of the reason for this was earth's ideal climate
system. Even AFTER the Flood (which resulted in a short ice age), for
some centuries the human lifespan was well over 100 years. It is
probably mostly these post-Flood fossils of Man that paleontologists
are able to dig up, these days.
Another reason they would not envy us is because of the tremendous
power and "authority," as it were, that was given to the earlier
humans. They were responsible for starting entire nations and races!
In fact, Adam and Eve were responsible for starting the whole human
race! Abraham (post Flood, died at age 175) is the father of many
nations, including, of course, the Jews. Cain founded one city, at
least. A number of these ancient patriarchs had children that occupied
entire areas, consisting of civilizations of many cities and villages.
They became and founders and leaders of NATIONS, while still alive,
due to their progeny!
Evidence exists that some of the Roman and/or Greek and/or other
ancient "gods" were really these ancient patriarchs, such as Cain and
the founder of Babel. Notes in the Defender's Study Bible, available

had awesome power, authority and influence on the rest of history!
So, we have cell phones but the patriarchs lived for hundreds of years
and are the formers and shakers of civilization!
As I said, they would not envy us. SO: the ancient reason for pride:
the power and authority these people exerted! Their choices still
influence us, today! The modern and future reason for pride: the power
of science and technology.
So men will think they don't need God; look at the power of science
and technology, they will think. But the ancients felt the same way;
one of them even named one of his sons a name that translates to:
"Let's Rebel !" (See Defender's Study Bible notes.)
Have you ever looked at any modern scene - whether in real life, or in
a movie, or picture in a magazine, or whatever, and been struck by
this same thing that strikes me once in a while..(see below)..?:
Let's say it's a picture of a modern woman in a modern, high-rise
apartment with a view over some modern city. She is dressed in a way,
and has her hair styled in a way, that speaks "20th-21st century!" The
furniture in her apartment is all modern stuff. She looks totally
different from how you would picture somebody, and their environs,
would look, in say, ancient Rome or Babylon or Jerusalem, or a farmer
in those times.
It's like we have re-invented ourselves. As if we are different
creatures, on a different planet, than our ancient ancestors. We look
so totally different (because of our clothing, etc.), and so do our
environs. Add to this the myth of evolutionism and we truly believe in
humanism: "Man is the measure of all things," and, back when we still
felt certain needs, "In the beginning, Man created God." We are truly
independant and self-defining! (We feel.)
It is in this type of environment, with science ("knowledge of
nature") and technology advancing at ever increasing paces, that Man,
ever more as time goes on, will feel independant of any God. Man will
be self-defined and self-actualizeing and self-directed. (In his own
view.)
That's what God in His Word says is going to happen! Thus, when Christ
returns in Glory, it will catch all by total surprise! ("The nations
will mourn because of Him," the Bible says.)
But I've often wondered if our ancestors were SMARTER than us, in
spite of evolutionist hype. Since everything has been undergoing
entropy and decay, running DOWNhill since the beginning (ever since
Man sinned and God cursed Nature), it would make sense that, if any
change, we've gotten dumber, our brains have gotten SMALLER!
Well, Discovery magazine, in spite of its head being firmly buried in
evolutionism's mythical sands, confirms this!
The DESCENT OF MAN, indeed!
