Someone told me that all cuss words should be capitalized in literature,
books,
or legal documents, or whatever. Does anyone agree with this?

For example, do you think these sentences are correct:

* "He stated, 'You can go Fuck yourself for all I care'"

* "He called me a Shithead, which hurt my feelings"

These are just a few examples in which I have typed the words "Fuck"
and "Shithead" using uppercase. I don't think these should be uppercase,
but I want to know what others think about this.

I can't think of any reason why this should be so.

"Someone" was wrong.

No.

The phrase "crazier than a June bug" springs to mind.

I think you may be confusing proper nouns with improper nouns?

Cheers,
Daniel.

As a grammarian, I always do as I please, and no one tells me otherwise.
If, for example, someone were to tell me to always capitalize my profanity,
I would answer: "Go fuck yerself!"

Proper nouns, words that are names of people or places, are usually
capitalized. They continue to be capitalized when used as cuss words.

A few of the obvious religious ones are God, Jesus and Christ. Hell is
sometimes capitalized and sometimes isn't.

Improper nouns sure have their impertinance, doesn't they?
