I was wondering if anyone knew what the '10' means in 'ten in my hand
and a gleam in my eye'? Someone suggested 10 fingers? Others
suggested a 10 dollar bill? Any ideas? [see below]

Cheers,

N

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I take a look at my life and realize there's nuttin' left
.
.
.
I'm a educated fool with money on my mind
Got my **10** in my hand and a gleam in my eye
.
.

He can't be that educated, or he wouldn't say 'a educated'.

He's referring to his 10-inch-long penis.
Hence the gleam in his eye.

Since money is mentioned in the previous line, I suspect it's a 10-
dollar bill. I'm not aware that there's any idiom relating to 10
fingers..

I figured it was a kind of gun, like a 9. But I was hesitant to post
this because "10 mm" didn't sound like a type of gun -- thankfully
someone else was able to find the real origin (Mac 10).

It is also conceivable that "10" refers to the Smith & Wesson 910
lightweight semi-automatic pistol.

"The Smith And Wesson Model 910 is an American double-action semi-
automatic service pistol. The Smith And Wesson Model 910 is chambered
for the 9 mm Parabellum cartridge which it takes from a 15-round
magazine, has a 4-inch barrel and fixed sights. The Smith And Wesson
Model 910 is a light-weight model, having an alloy frame with a steel
slide."

Now that we've solved that mystery, perhaps we can turn to a line from
"Ugly Bitches" and figure out why nine months later "she squirted *on*
an insect" instead of "out" an insect (at least if the lyrics sites
are to be believed).

the mac 10 is not in anyway shape or form an uzi . preda the designer
gordon ingram designed the m-3 "grease gun " of ww2 fame the mac 10 {
45cal}and 11{380cal} were outgrowths of that design . the silencer usually
seen on it was designed by mitch werbell .
