Which is the plural form of "fly" (a bodybuilding exercise)?
I thougth "flies" like "lady" ->"ladies", but everyone writes "flyes" in
bodybuilding magazine and newsgroups. Is it a spelling mistake or a sort of
slang?

In article <3697f...@calder.dada.it>,

The plural of 'fly' is 'flies' as we know; however, if a form of exercise is
called a 'fly' (whatever it might mean), it is not beyond the realms of
possibility that gym culture has invented its own plural form. Why should it
not?

AF.
