Crocodile tears of laughter?
"Crocodile tears"are fake tears, or an insincere display of grief. (The term
comes to us from an old belief that crocodiles actually weep after eating their
victims.) Therefore, I would say that the opposite of "crocodile tears" is
genuine grief, or heartfelt lamentation.

Sobs?
The expression of fake grief, would be crocodile tears, but the
expression of fake praise is... I need a word.

Not exactly the opposite, but at least we know now what you are looking
for.
How about sycophancy, hypocrisy (in a specialized application),
ass-kissing, brown-nosing, sucking up (amazing how many of these are
"dirty"). And the person who does it is a "yes man."

I've always heard this type of ingenuous individual called a "flatterer" or a
"toady."

Surely -- thanks (shows what happens when one posts before sufficient coffee
has been ingested).
Just trying to help.

How about "insincerity?"
