hello i had big issue with our simplex panel, i was removed from the
building along with about 100 000$ worth of detection !!!, now my
mission is to get into those panel / understand /map / unlock those
serie for the ones knowledgable enought to use this information !

if you have any information/software/hardware that might help me i
would greatly apreciate and reward/pay for all fee,s involved ,i
think it should be a simple hack , but only time will tell.

please support my effort to free the technicians from the monopoly
of the big manufacturer, i've been into fire protection for over 26+
years done service on drop relays panel to the latest adressable
panel, and having to charge customer astronomicals fee,s and being
the slave of such corporation is a shame, we the technician have the
power of knowledge, let,s all be white hat's

i'm also intersted in all adressable fire panel that lock technician
out, by having software/dongle/password to panels, i'm willing to
buy from corp all the software/hardware/formation i need to program
those panels that they have so cleverly instaled on sites over the
last years, but first they should be available for us, not only a
closed monopoly thing.

i will never be a one manufacturer tehcnician.

thanks all for your interest in this post, hope it will trigger
great interest in the fire alarm community

C ya soon!

Bud

The "dongles" you speak of are issued to the tech when he's hired. They
have a limited number of panels they can "unlock" (i.e. program) before
the key (dongle) has to be re-issued. When the tech leaves (even if he
doesn't return the dongle) it's a pretty simple matter to deactivate it.
In addition, there are several other "layers" of protection which
Simplex, GE Security, Mircom, etc. incorporate to prevent such a thing
as you propose from actually happening. There is no "universal hack"
you will be able to exploit, and dreaming of one (or that someone
currently employed with a company like "Simplex" will give you one) will
get you about as far as dreaming about winning the lottery. Good luck
with that too.

trust me i removed 1000's of dongle from 1000's of serious software
corp, if you have the info i need help me i'm devoted to success in
this mission, and btw the encryption algo is so week a baby could
crack it, so i have my doubt about how serious they are about
protection lolol far from rsa |:}

they might have a system in place to prevent ex-tech from using
their soft at their db to access their customer panel , but the
rs232 protocol is a joke for preventing me or anyone whit a bit of
experience as hacker from getting inside panel !!

all i can say is i watch tv on n3 :)
and i always did my crack with CLASS

have a great day and thank you for the response.

i will success, and i will post all the information public ! never
again 100 000 of hardware to the garbage !!!!

c ya
