WHY? You'd figure anything that shuts off power to any home appliance
is worth it.
Like having a timer to shut off your AC at certain off-peak hours may
actually taper your Cooling bill some., ALSO, dome occupancy sensors
are very green and helpful, depending on the amount of lights (or
load) they are setup to handle.......Do you have a picture of this Egg
and the chicken that hatched it?:)

As well as buying the egg you have to buy a controller for every device
using electricity and it seems to work on movement in the room. ie no
movement results in switch off.
So sitting quietly watching TV without moving in your chair will switch off
the TV
My wife and I operate using the switch by hand and it seems to work!
