One of the naturally occurring minerals is Calcium Carbonate which is also known by the name of dolomite. It is composed of most of the living as well as non living elements on this earth. Calcium carbonate is mostly found in soil, rocks and sea bed. It is one of the most essential structural components that are found in the skeletal systems of plants, animals and even humans. The industrial uses of this mineral are also varied. Industries such as polymers, construction, and even health care make use of this mineral.
