I've been listening to the streaming audio on the wolfgangvaults
website. Some great sound stuff there. Hopefully, they will be able to
work out deals with the artists and record companies to get the audio
and video of the shows out onto the market. Some of it is out there
already on bootlegs, I have the video of the Sex Pistols Winterland
show, but having these shows on high quality dvd would be great.

Janis Joplin's brother has said they have contacted the guy because he
has some of Janis's shows but he never got back to them. I would be
interested in the Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin stuff he
has.

I hope they sort it out too, but I'm skeptical. Wasn't there a huge
cache of audio tapes found in a salt mine some years ago, and we're
still waiting for that lot to see the light of day?

I remember reading way back when, that the King Biscuit radio shows
were coming out on CD, and when I look at the titles that they've put
out so far it seems that most of them are by what you'd call the
lesser acts. The bigger bands don't need the money and don't want
their artistic integrity compromising.

Or whatever shit muso-speak excuse is popular this month.
