Does anyone remember an Elvis Impersonator named Johnny Spence? If so please e-mail me I would like to know what he's up to. I know many here hate tribute artist, but I don't.

Johnny Spence died in Rockford, IL a few years ago. Johnny was the first to have an all Elvis show and toured internationally for many years. I was his personal friend for over thirty years and managed the Johnny Spence 'Live In Concert' Show for many years. He was the best of them all and if you seen him perform you'd probably agree. When Elvis was alive he would bring Johnny to Graceland to be a 'decoy' while Elvis would 'slip out' for a few days. Crazy! In July of 2013 Johnny was post-humously awarded the Lifetime Achievement HOK award in a ceremony held at the Las Vegas Hilton showroom. You can see a lot of Johnny if you pull up Johnny Spence Facebook on your computer.

I have a hard time believing Johnny or anyone else for that matter was a decoy for Elvis. If E wanted to go incognito he would simply use the service entrance.
