I'm watching the Madison Square Garden Press Conference and at least twice
he declined to answer questions about draft dodgers and women's liberation.
Did he really prefer not to comment or did he not feel he could articulate
an intelligent response to the questions. I sort of get the feeling he was
a shy person and not that confident in smaller settings.

according to RESEARCH.. elvis was told to 'behave himself' and keep
his political views and other views that may hinder his image and the
colonels... to himself.

and some of elvis' veiws weren't let's just say... a positive
image... (according to what some have said after his death.)

as elvis was told.. and he had replied saying many times.. "i'm just
an entertainer.."

that's why he didn't piss off too many folks during his co-existance
with other lifeforms.

folks want to escape reality with elvis... not get tugged into it..
he also kept his religious views to himself.. that would've been
seriously a damaging move.

Elvis was Intelligent enough to say he's an Entertainer & would prefer to
keep his own personal views on that to himself. I think that was a great
way to answer the question.
Look at what talking about personal views has done for Tom Cruise for
example.

Jim,

You're answering the same troll who changes his name everytime he posts some
inane drivel on here.

As I have mentioned before, there is a dead giveaway on every message he
posts no matter what name he uses.

He must be either 12 years old or live a miserable worthless life to spend
so much time sending that kind of shit.

On top of that he probably thinks he's clever and funny.

but like we were there? hummm?

That's the dead giveaway that Marty makes up 95% of the crap he says
about Elvis on AEK. Have you ever heard any of the rest of the
Memphis Mafia spout on so much about The King?

Marty hates Elvis's loved ones with a passion. He hates Priscilla.
He hates Lisa Marie. He hates Elvis's cousins. He hates everyone
whom Elvis loved best. All he does is tear them down. He has a
secret hatred for Elvis. BUT...

We will never let Marty tear Elvis down!

The same guys who use IQ tests that require knowledge to complete are
the same guys who say that IQ may be inherited. Imagine that,
inheriting knowledge. Now that's a philosophical subject in and of
itself is it not. I believe Plato alluded to this many centurys ago.
However IQ should be based on your ability to learn not on what you
have learned.
Anyone with at least a normal intelligence would be able to tell that
Elvis IQ was much higher than 70 regardless of how it is measured.

Oh, sorry I guess that is obvious also.

IQ tests are designed to evaluate your level of problem solving
ability, NOT background knowledge. A tv show like Jeopardy has zero
to do with IQ, but mucho to do with collected background knowledge.
You're assbackwards.

Now that's a philosophical subject in and of

Hey newbie, that IS what IQ tests measure. So I infer yours to be...
about 72ish, perhaps 65-72, tops.

Well here is just one simple example of a question on a real IQ test:
3. Two of the following numbers add up to thirteen.

1, 6, 3, 5, 11
True or False

Sorry there bud but answering this question requires background
knowledge on mathematics. This is just a simple one. Some of them
get involved with much higher math.
An example I'd say of really measuring IQ is figuring out that you
can't put a square peg into a round hole.
And a show like Jeopardy realizes on one's IQ and ability to acquire
bacground knowledge.

Enough to know that Plato believed that people already know everything
that they can know. And that all you have to do is bring it back to
your memory. He used this in is his philosophical examples or at
least one of them.
I also know enough to understand that it is debatable as to wether
this concept originated with Plato or Socrates.
Since most of what we know about Socrates comes from what Plato wrote.

What does your statement sound like?

Most IQ tests as I've already outlined to you above measure your
ability to learn based on what you have already learned. That is
quite different from Intelligence that you are born with. Of course
it can be debated on hereditary intelligence or not but I believe that
is quite possible. Intelligence being in your DNA as such.

I pose this question: What does you thinking I am new to this board,
your use of foul language and ill attempt at putting others down say
about your own intelligence? Just curious.

Marty will know because he would have lifted the top off Elvis' head
and gave his brain a quick check over back in the day.

The above is as credible as anything else you may get in reply to this

no, but here since none of these hormone eating production types it
would be a debate.... it's the weakening of soceity as you know.

weak genes.. steroids.. hormones.. the super chicken of the 50s and
all that marketing.... all over, weak mings.. weak limbs and empty
calories.

why eat that salad when you can have a krispy kreme!

here's to obecity!
