two questions the record called spelling on the stone does anyone have
any idea who sang that song now question number two in 1981 a mystery
singer that went by the name sivle nora that sounded alot like elvis

Dan Willis, a tall (6'7")backup singer for Christy Lane sang"The
Spelling On The Stone" and all of the songs on the lp it was on.
He was selling cds of it at her concerts and some he was doing. I saw an
ad for him one time in an issue of Elvis International Forum magazine.
It had his photo in it and mentioned that song. There is a question
about who sings on the Silve Nora material. Rick

This has been posted many times on this ELVIS Ng.NO it's not ELVIS it's
a guy by the name of Danial Willis that plays Branson MO.I know a friend
who went to see him and the CD reissue of the album had his name listed on it.

Sivle Nora was a guy named David Darlock.

David Darlock refused to be voice printed to prove it was him on the
sivle albums. So there is absolutely no proof that Sivle was David
Darlock. In the binary of the original Sivle album the words "ELVIS
ENTERTAINMENT " are scratched. Also on the Geraldo show where David
Darlock is supposed to have proved he was the singer on the Sivle tape
he never sang, He only talked for about 15 seconds.
I also find it curios that Bill Smith who put out the album and
was on that show did not recognise Darlock sitting on the front row with
a guitar in his hand.
Why would Bill Smith allow himself to be humiliated on tv if
he knew Darlock was the singer on Sivle.
Geraldo simply wanted to prove Elvis was dead because he had
already stated many times that Elvis was dead.
Geroldo has a reputation that he cant stand being wrong. His
actions are like those of a bad cop who manufactures evidence to prove
his case in the case of Sivle Nora.
It is also common knowledge amongst some of us that Elvis
booked Studio time long before 1977 under the name Sivle Yelserp.
There is also a wrist band on display in florida that Elvis
once owned with the name Sivle on it. All the evidence i have seen
leads to only 1 conclusion. Sivle is a mystery as yet unsolved, But i
see no evidence for Sivle being David Darlock at all.

Major Bill Smith did NOT know who Sivle Nora was he thought it was ELVIS.
Major Bill only reissued the tapes that a Steve Chance & Steve Crown of an
ELVIS fan club in FLA.had put out years before.Who knows who it was but we
know who it aint and thats ELVIS ! And thats the truth !

Sivle Yelserp being such a common name in the Memphis area, that no
studio owners would be in any way suspicious about the identity of the
mystery singer?

I think he booked studio time in Memphis Egypt... That would explain being
able to hide behind the middle eastern name of Sivle Yelserp. This must have
been when he recorded Little Egypt and Mirage

from Major Bill before he died 2 are the Sivle Nora crap one stright and
one with overdubs,one is a Sivle Nora interview done with Steve Chance the other
is radio interviews done with Major Bill and his friend ELVIS these are on
Major Bill's Lacam lable out of Texas.These are different ELVIS books that
tells the Major Bill Smith Story if you care to read them also he had a Sivle
Nora book out called Memphis Mistory.Like I said before some people like to
post things just to get things started.

to do with the Sivle crap except reissuing it.I wrote to Major Bill just
before he died and bought all his Sivle Nora tapes if he had nothing to
do with it how could I have bought the cassettes off him.NO I didn't get
his book but he DID write a book on Sivle Nora.Still proves what I say
