Does anyone know if the transistor 2N4401 and 2N2222A are similar, and
if it愀 often possible to use any of the two?

(is there a equal one to 2N4401 with european name such as BC107 etc?)

Thanx, Erik

They are very similar devices and are swapable most times.

HiErik,
My experience with general purpose transistors is that they will work as
long as they are in the same family...PNP /NPN. I should hope that you are
familar with the terminology. If not Post a message

I have an application which demands the real 2N2222A bewcause of the Icex or
Icbo specification. It;s often missing for less expensive transistors like
the 3907. Donno about the 4401.
