I have been looking for a long time now for distance learning/ online
degrees/ low or non residency MA degrees for Art History. The only
ones I have found so far are Warnborough University and American
International University. It was because I was interested in their
programs that I decided to check them out further and the discovered
this group. Of course now I am no longer interested intheir courses
after reading up about them.
The other degree I found was from California State University -
Dominguez Hills - Humanities of MA degree with concentration in Art.
Is this the only genuine program out there, or is there a MA Art
History program somewhere?

I am so grateful to this group for leading me away from Warnborough &
AIU!!!!

Try the Union Institute and University

http://www.tui.edu/prospective/ma/ma/program/concentrations.asp?strLink=Bb.2.1.2.3

An option. It is regionally accredited but if you could find a distance
program from a brick and mortar university it would be a better choice.

Union is certainly an option, though not a very good one. As Scar
says, it's best to do a DL degree from a B&M school if possible. Next
you could consider a better school than Union. If, for whatever
reason, you do decide on Union, maybe it's easier or something, just
understand that it's bottom level accredited and doesn't carry much
water. Mentioning a degree from Union isn't like saying the University
of Tennessee. Suit yourself as to the school to be used. Just don't
expect the lowest level RA schools to be as known or usable as the
better ones. You will get what you are willing to pay and work for. I
suggest you select the best you can afford. Just being fast, easy,
cheap, isn't a great recommendation, and nothing to brag on, though
some have unsuccessfully tried that behavior.
