A bunch of crap to alt.startrek and some earthquake newsgroup
that I deleted... I hope I'm not off-topic for any of the rest.

Irrelevant.

Yes, the auto manufacturers should be made to pay for their
inefficient designs. The technology is there already,
it's just not utilized.

Actually, I thought that was hog-farming, or the dumping of
toxic waste. Or do you mean there's a new emission law
banning the catalytic converter, which is the reason
industrialized nations have 3 times the level of heavy metal
pollution, and a commeasurate amount of cancer?
Wait, I'm confused.

That's right! We rule the world; I'd forgotten about that.
They don't have to like it, either - we have the nukes, so
fuck 'em.
> Which candidate will make the right choices and put the planet first ?
Er, the one least likely to get elected - the lobbyist's will
be paying the opponent(s) with a hope in hell of getting
office.
Semantics.

I dunno, he sounded sarcastic.
Are either of you two smart enough to remove the
startrek and earthquake newsgroup this thread's been
crossposted to?

How do they know which of the cross posted NG's it came
from?
