Pepsi Max Cino: Weird. Very weird. Very very weird. More please.

Diet Coke with Cherry: At last a Diet Coke that doesn't taste like
watered-down tar! And for all you Cherry Coke haters, it tastes nothing like
Cherry Coke!

Very weird, and rather vile, I found. Considering I like coffee, and I
find Pepsi Max one of the few diet drinks that is almost drinkable,
combining the two doesn't seem to have worked to well.

Tasting like Cherry Coke is only half the worry - tasting like Diet Coke
being the other!

It's a very sweet, very milky coffee.

But it doesn't! Hurrah! It's actually nice! A Coke that's nice! Hurrah!

Pepsi Max is lovely. A miracle of modern science.

Yes. Pepsi Max Cino contains 3.2kJ (0.8 Calories) per 100ml. It's sweetened
with aspartame and acesulfame K.

Heretic! Coffee should be as black and thick as the gunge underneath Satan's
toenails! None of this "sweet". None of this "milky".

Moving on, of all the fizzy soft drinks, Fentimans ginger beer is the nicest I've
found. These days I can't stand cola of any sort; it's like drinking sweetened
battery acid. Foul.

Regards,

Well, it's supposedly a cappuccinoesque coffee flavour, so it does make
sense in context.

But there's so much variation in colas! Coke gives me immediate and painful
acid indigestion. Pepsi Max is lovely.

Knowing you, I'm assuming you are speaking from experience here.

I've really gone off fizzy drinks of late. Am drinking dandelion and burdock
at the moment, admittedly, but that's lost a lot of its appeal. Feh. I
basically lived my final year of uni on Cherry Coke, Dr Pepper and
toasties. Which may have something to do with the fact I have enormous-ed
since graduation. Or possibly Blackwell's canteen.

I have developed a worrying obsession with apple juice, though.

There's nothing wrong with apple juice. Well, depending what you do
with it I suppose...

I find it much easier to purchase it pre-fermented :)
