I ignored it.
I really triggered a barrage after that.
that is pretty bad, so called denial
That is clearly a symptom of depression (hopelessness)
I told him to start doing things again and this is what she replies
the answer to where you get free counselling is free clinic. It is a
given that people with depression/panic attacks etc often aren;t working
and they need free services. There are certainly free clinics of this
type all over. And i referred him to a hotline that could help him.
I am impressed that he finally admitted to me that he was having
difficulties. he never said a word when I went to visit him. At least he
is admitting it.
Sometimes the best way to get depressed people out of it is to piss them
off. Being pissed off makes it hard to be depressed.
But man, he has to change his life....for one he needs to get out of that
city, there are better places to live. One would be anxious if one was
constantly threatened , but also living in a place with the stress it
causes, plus the new mindset caused by all this terrorism. The first
thing they have to do is get out of there. the second thing he needs to
do is get a job,
I hope he does better.
I know he is angry with me. But it is better than tiptoeing around the
subject, the way he has been doing it for more than a year now
he needs to do something to change his life
I gently tried to tell him to stop being so quarrelsome because it is not
helping either of us.
Someone other than us, like a therapist, needs to tell him how really
awful his personality is in this regard. I mean, he cannot give it up
whether it is in email or real life. i have gotten used to it. but sheesh
can you imagine how a boss would react to it?
he needs therapy. badly
a very skillful attack
