Quality of trips between pill & liquid forms?

noticed that the pill form of dxm (aka "robogels") produces a slightly
different buzz for me than does the liquid form. When I take the
liquid form, it's much more visual and perceptual. The pill form can
produce those same sensations, but I have to focus on them for them to
occur - otherwise, pills produce a buzz that just makes me yak a lot.
The pills are great for getting my writer's mind out of a slump, but
the liquid form seems better when all I really want to do is veg-out
and "dream awake", so to speak.
Is there a known qualitative difference between dxm in the pill form
and dxm in the liquid form that could possibly produce such subtle
differences in mental states? :-?

I think it has to do with the rate of obsorbtion. I have notice this
too. To me it seems that the pills obsorb slower over a longer period
of time unlike the liquid which hits me like a ton of bricks. I
normaly just have to use more pills to achieve the same affect as a
lower dose of liquid.

You're probably producing less DXO (in the liver) from the DXM in
CoughGels, because of how it's absorbed.

when I didn't feel much of anything. Unless you have some other way
of taking them. :-? They didn't have near the effect of just two 4 oz
bottles of the plain max strength cough, though supposedly there
should've been more dxm present.
The pills just plain suck. At least for someone used to more heavy
dosing, I guess. :-/

That was -with- some of the antihistamine stuff you're not supposed to
mix in with them. I won't say how much, just needless to say I do tend
to need more chemicals in general to get the same effect as most
folks.
