Hello??

Well to anybody out there, I just found a new flavor from koolaid.
Jamaica is the name and it is made from dried Hibiscus flowers.
Strange tast though and is only tolerable when properly chilled.

Anyone else try it?

Also found a flavor called Tamarindo. Made form some type of root,
and is supposed to taste like a refreshing ice tea. Have not tried it
yet, but will let all know.

These were found in a local supermarket here in Orlando FL.

Any word on actually getting these flavors up here in the States?
I've noticed that there are a few flavors not sold in the US and I was
wondering how to get hold of them.

What part of the U.S. are you in? I'm in Texas and we have both Jamaica and
Tamarindo here. For the record, Jamaica is *wonderful*. If that's what
Hibiscus is flavored like, then I've been saving the flowers off my Hibiscus
plant for tea for a good reason.

Tamarindo, which I believe is aimed at the Hispanic market, is not really to
my liking.

e-mail me your address and I'll send you a packet or two of each.

We have it here in South Florida also, its an interesting taste.
Kool-aid has it on their site as well. Perhaps its being market
tested?
