There is a newsgroup alt.drinks.irish-whiskey, to which this post could
perhaps have been more usefully addressed.
Did your friend not tell you about Bushmills?

Thank you, Nemo. I have alt.drinks.irish-whiskey in my list, but trust the
people here more. ;-)

I've had Old Bushmills and the Black Bush. I found Jameson's to be
superior.
Slainte!

michael collins label
is good.
but too costly.
good for a gift.
I actually made three posts, the first two to alt.drinks.scotch-whisky, and
then as I 'd mentioned alt.drinks.irish-whiskey, I added that, to the
Groups line for a further post, how the follow up got set to
alt.drinks.irish-whiskey I do not know. Purely unintentional. I thought
that I had set to follow up to both groups as one was carrying a post of
interest to the other.
Thank you for cross posting this for me. I've had Bushmill's. Prefer
Jameson's.
