One morning I put on my bathrobe and staggered out to the dining room.
There I saw a shallow plexiglass box standing on one side. On the
rear of the box, a web page was displayed. I sat in fornt of the box
and began navigating through web pages, using the display in the box
as a touchscreen. From time to time, small objects that were relevant
to the web pages materialized in the bottom of the box. Then I
noticed an elaborate joystick sticking out of the table. I pushed it
to the left and felt the whole room move to the left. I realized I
was having a false awakening and was delighted. I pushed the joystick
to the right and was almost thrown out of my chair when the room
lurched to the right. I woke up laughing.

Yeah, that was fun. I don't know why some people complain about false
awakenings, they have often been very entertaining for me.

This is a very interesting dream, but what kinds of pages did you read
in the browser? Do you remember anything about the contents? Did you
look them up afterward?

I've had some interesting results from web browsing in dreams. Usually
I'm looking at a page that I don't recall searching for when I am
lucid, and I attempt to remember as much as possible--then hoping to
find verification of the information when I wake up.

Rarely have I found anything on Google when I wake up. It certainly
does appear that I was in an entirely disconnected universe. But
lately I've started to wonder, because Google does not index
everything. Recent searches on other sites like blogsearchengine.com
have opened up a lot of websites that were not indexed before. Note
that Alex Chiu isn't even indexed by Google, and he's famous! (Famous
for being a crackpot and selling inventions that seem fairly ridiculous
and possibly unsafe, but censorship is a little bit extreme...)

Sometimes I do search for myself. This has had varying amounts of
success, and sometimes causes alerts that have made me a bit paranoid.
Sometimes I find more...

Keep web browsing, in dreams and otherwise!!!

One of the pages must have been about jewelry, since a gold ring
materialized in the box. My recall of the dream wasn't good enough to
remember URLs.

A few times I've dreamed of objects or events being in a location from
waking life, and then gone there after I awoke. The dreamed events or
objects were not there.
