There are three characters I am interested in writing for the Inn. They are:

Rupert

Rupert is a flying silver tea tray. He attained sentience rather unexpectedly by being in the right place at the wrong time. Once part of a beautiful silver tea service, Rupert was being used to hold a few newly made potions for a rather clumsy, tea-loving wizard, when the old gent accidentally brushed his handle and Rupert fell to the floor, with the potions spilling everywhere and all over him. Rupert woke up in a welter of confusion, flew straight up into the air - clocking his owner on the chin as he did so -- and flew back into the kitchen, where he sat on the highest shelf to think things out. He now flies about as unobtrusively as possible seeing the sights and desperately trying to avoid antique stores.

Lycari

The deep forests of the mountains held a secret - a race of wolf shapeshifters. Lycari's kind is nearly extinct and he is one of only several individuals left. Lycari can change into a white arctic wolf at will. In this form he retains all of his intellect, which is formidable, since he once led his people into hiding. He dabbles in natural magic; a kind of innate ability his people all possessed, which made them very susceptible to enslavement by evil doers.
Lycari is tall and good looking, with long white hair and very pale skin. His eyes are grey with flecks of blue, a trait he keeps in his wolfed form. He is athletic and an affable fellow, but you don't want to get on his bad side. This guy bites!

Akiahr

Akiahr is an alien from a planet ruled by the females of his kind. His people have a long and war-like history, mainly between each other and other worlds. In the beginning, Akiahr's kind were big cats, called ligaron. This species evolved into the Zarai, a sexually dimorphic and sentient race.
In their history, males were very dominant and highly aggressive individuals, making constant battle a rather tiresome occurance for the females, who found themselves passed about like glasses of beer between the winners, with the losers only winding up as slaves.
Since more females than males are born, the females ganged up on the powerful males and took over, gradually turning the situation into a democratic monarchy ruled solely by the females. Males were relegated to slavery and used for breeding. During the millennia, the Zarai have managed space flight and many incredible scientific discoveries, but they have retained their autocratic ways with their males.
Zarai are always born as twins. Often a pregnancy yields two females, but when there is a male in the womb, his sibling -always a female- is sacrificed by the mother's body to care for the male baby. Males are always born as singletons.
From the very day they can walk, males are trained to fight. They can be rather pampered due to their relative rarity and well trained ones can command a hefty price on the block, both for their bloodlines and for their prowess in the pits and in bed.
Females are often tall and are always attractive. They are shrewd and able merchants. They are well experienced in settling differences and their government is run expertly.
Sexual dimorphism, in case you are not savvy on this term, means that there is a distinct difference between the males and the females. In the Zaraii, males are significantly larger than the females, often topping out at close to eight feet in height. They are quite naturally muscular and are strikingly beautiful creatures in a masculine way. While the females possess an exotic and humanlike loveliness, the males are bred to attract females, which they do with ease.
Akiahr is a paragon of his type. His mother is the ruling Queen of the Zaraii and she was more than pleased to add him to her stable of males. While she will not breed to him herself, she does occasionally 'rent' him out to potentially excellent motherlines for breeding and has secured excellent ties with other ruling Houses through this practice. Also he has yet to be defeated in the pits.
With tanned skin and raggedly long black hair, Akiahr is about as close to gorgeous as a guy can get. He is well over seven feet tall, excellent with any weapon and a powerhouse hand to hand fighter. His weapon of choice is the sword, in which he is a master. It is a very foolish individual who challenges him. Like his feline ancestors, male Zaraii have large canines and deadly retractable claws on their fingers . This attribute makes writing impossible for males, as their hands are built slightly differently from the females who don't have this problem.

There are my three characters. I'm not sure where they will fit in, but they are here for your perusal. I might not be able to get onto the Inn on a daily basis, as I work odd times, but I would love to field any or all of these individuals in a story or stories.

Thank you!

Wonderful to have you here!

If you'd like to try to catch Renik The Slip, or to have your characters be the targets of his antics, post in [Thief/Open].

[Fiddlers Green/Open] has a boardinghouse, a livery stable, and a mechanists' shop. If you'd like anything made, from a special tool all the way up to an airship, post there. (Also, you didn't hear it from me, but there is a story called [Wolf Moon] that hasn't quite started, about werewolves that will be centered there. So if you want to investigate wolf attacks in the city, you might head over there and poke around)

If you would like to help Hugh and Judy put the Inn back in order, restock the winecellar, and prepare for an eventual Dragons Inn get together, post in [Reunion/Inn/Open].

And, as always, just like back in the old days, you can always start a post with [New Character] Name, and describe your characters arrival at the Red Dragon Inn. Feel free to write the responses of random inn-goers. Fawn, and Hugh and Judy are always available to be interacted with. My main character to keep the lights on is Vintner of Greenhavan, a Bard, and he'll be happy to meet you!

Welcome back!
